Gaming piracy math explained by dumbing down research (Since recent PC releases love to do it):
1) Estimate pirated games (google , fuck it lets just make it up) / Total market size = % of piracy within market
2) Troll math:
-PC: 5 herps / 10 derps = 50% of herps derp
-Console: 5 herps / 100 derps = 5% of herps derp
3) Compare, using awesome skills acquired in in 3rd grade math:
-Last time i checked my 8th grade diploma I know that 50% > 5% ...
4) Conclude: Piracy is dominant in the giant PC market so lets not try to make stuff for it, lets just user the copy and paste derp model and port it over...
How to make a NEXT GET(fuck yeah hype term) game:
1. Look at best selling game
2. Beg/pay to use their engine
3. Add one feature and call it "game changing" , "revolutionary", "will totally change how you play games", "*quote from paid reviewer*"
4. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
5. PROFIT!!!!! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAH

So why is nobody licensing the Quake 3/Call of Duty engine?
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
Probably because they are so old they can easily be recreated to look/feel the part, as one of the devs of cod said(paraphrase): It would be a loss to make a new engine...just use the same shit and color it green

Then you are wrong again, as none of the engines used for military shooters run at 60 fps on consoles. CoD is the only military shooter that runs at 60fps, and it's also the most successful franchise of this generation.

I just hope it doenst have that derpish feel on PC. Frontlines was an ok game but the controls were just too... derpish, even with K&M you felt like playing with a gamepad, weird.
"No I hope anyone that does that gets banned and thier consoles explodes sending shrapnel in to various fleshy body parts and then they get smacked with a ten thousand dollar fine while they are sitting in the hospitial.
Yeah...I hate Pirates with the passion of 1000 suns"
Someone is vewy vewy angwy.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
They should do an episode of "Mythbusters" featuring PCs and piracy.
I for one would like to watch a console blow up!
It's on an American derp channel. More than likely they would actually do a consoles and piracy episode, and burst, once and for all, the myth of piracy on the consoles.
Well Homefront was developed ON a PC, so yes... it's PC's fault piracy is killing gaming.
Aren't all games developed on a PC?
It was a joke A piss-take of some dickwad's comment about the Dragon Age 2 leak, where he said that PC was still to blame for piracy since the game was developed ON a PC
