I actually own all my ps3 games since i'm on 3.56
And I only own a ps3 for its exclusives
which i own most in all top10 lists out there.
Been playing them and been getting disappointed with some titles.
So. Next time you want to be a prick... be a prick in the ps3 hacking thread.
I'm actually asking a legitimate question here. And stating a legitimate opinion.
The first levels feel like prince of persia.
And the targeting on ledge jumping is just weird and an odd choice.
It feels like a proper tomb raider game with a mix of recent (but not so recent) prince of persia titles. There are design choices here that are weird but it's the first uncharted game I'm playing. Didn't and won't play the first one as I've read no real real real hype about it. So later on in the game, I'm guessing it'll feel more smooth and enjoyable. Right now some char animations (from sneaking to not sneaking, etc, etc, etc... ) just feel really odd. And I'm not a fan of the forced cinematics that makes me lose the sight of the objective.
Over all it's a great game, i just feel that naughty dog lost a bit of their old touch but gained a whole lot of new skills.

Well it is a really fun action game, but i have to agree with you - the targeting controls weren't the best, responsive but not really accurate or so i thought, and some of the character animations were quite snappy and not particularly fluent, especially considering the rest of the game in terms of graphics and animations.
Puzzles were derpified beyond belief though, it can't even be compared to PoP ( the first 3 ) in terms of puzzles

you mean the train level or Istanbul roof tops ?? Imo this game aiming needs more tweaking by setting sensitivity in the menu and part 2 has a awful story line compared to part 1 which had Eldorado's City of Gold golden statue that had a virus used by Nazis to make Ubersoldiers , every chapter had a different game mechanic and more consistent story line then the MEH part 2 that was always "run and gun"

this game is the definition of perfect, takes you by the hand to an awesome journey. God i hope uncharted 3 is as good as 2.

if they refine UNC3 the way they did with UNC2 from UNC1 it will be a fantastic game. Narrative and gfxwise UNC2 was the best i've seen on consoles yet.

i haven't touched the ps3 for ages now. UC3 will probably be the one to get me back on it.
Game is simply fun to play and one of those types of games where it keeps you playing because you want to know what happens next.

i played through it about may of last year and i agree with you about the targeting. it's pretty shitty overall. could be really awesome kick ass games if they would work on some of the little problems like that and a few other quirks i noticed.
still a good series though and easy to overlook stuff like that to enjoy them.

Yeah. Visually the game is awesome. Has moments where i'm at the edge of my seat. And the story isn't awful. It's just those little animation glitches. Issues here and there. You can't mention those on any regular gaming forum cause faggots who support sony to death will call you a troll or an xbot. I own pretty much all of the exclusives i really wanted to try on the ps3 and some of them really fall flat. I'm going to buy heavy rain soon but i'm worried the hype is centered around only the qte's rather than the basic gameplay and from the vid's i've seen... it's really wonky at times.

Talking about exclusives who fell flat. MGS 3. What a POS crybaby Japanese shit game where Snake grunts his way through hours of trippy storyline. How can people like this excuse for a game?

MGS3 was awesome. MGS4 is a different story though, i cant seem to get into

It gets a bit harder though, but only a bit:) i just remembered the part after the train level when the village was attacked by that tank, what awesomeness, did you get there yet ?
