is that true? i burnt it on both mistsubish and imation dvd+R dual layers, both gave me the dirty disc error after some loading screens. my samsung made lots of noise though, like it was gonna die. ok i wasted $30bucks on these 2 dual layers.. aint' gonna do it no more... should've just bought the original dammit.
but if dvd9 can damage the lens, won't the original jade empire damage the lens too?

I would really like to know how Pacote did all those screenshots. Is there some kind of application for the Xbox or Evox tool or something or does the game have a screenshot feature, which I guess isnt likely!? No way were they done with a camera!
May the NFOrce be with you always.

I will be posting a dvd5 version to newsgroups with all movies intact. They are currently still downsampling. Look for the post to begin tonight.

Highly unlikely! Especially since Jade Empire isnt the first DVD9 Xbox game!
Can you imagine what would happen if everyone who bought retail Jade Empire had a damaged lens!? lol

One thing I hate about this game is all of the fucking flexing my char does after a fight. I got people getting beat up while he shows off.

Am I the only one who thinks the combat system stinks? Either I'm missing something or there's only 1 3 hit combo with the A button, a knock back move, and 1 special move for each style.

I've encountered a showstopping bug in the game. I've reached the Imperial City and in the combat arena I've entered bronze combat level.
First opponents were those cannibal creatures from forest earlier in game. Defeated them. But next is a trial called the Pit of Pain. Once it loads up, I'm actually in the crowd area and not in the arena. I can run amongst the cardboard cutout spectators and thats about it. Sucks so badly as I've put 10 hours gametime into this. Anyone else come across this ?

I got a verb dual layer, I put This and Dead to Rights 2 on the same DL. My newer Xbox, the Samsung drive Xbox doesn't play this. My older one, the Philips one, does.

This game is really nice. I'm at Tien's landing and the story seems great and I really like the combat system. It has a lot of depth with the styles. It's nice how you can pick up stuff like table legs and take people out with them.

Well thankfully I'm well passed the Pit of Pain now.Turns out that it was my Ricoh dvd9 disk that was the problem. Placed game on hdd and its working perfectly again.
What is the best dvd9 media for a pioneer 109 on a crystal xbox 1.6 with Samsung drive?
