Well if the patch requires 3.56, it won't work.

Dunno if Math is bullshitting or not, but his behavior is really kiddie, he is acting like a kid that wants to draw attention and if I were him, I'd just released the damn exploit anonymously (or keep it for myself  ) but I would definitely not putting it out with my real nickname (and even worse, my real first and last name) nor would I tease about it under my real name.
Between him and egohot, I wonder who wins the race of the biggest ego ever... Anyway, i'm glad sabin closed the thread on psx scene, because this is exactly what MathieuLH wanted, people to complain in an useless thread, to boost his ego... And if he is legit, then he shouldn't have twitted anything about it. The only good thing to come out of this is if he is indeed legit, then don't worry, somebody else will find his exploit, he isn't the smartest guy ever (hell, if he was, he would act differently).

Yup, he wanted to start a flamewar --- then he goes back to Twatter and whines how people "attack him" He's a fucking idiot. I agree with cyclone 150%; he shouldn't have said anything at all. If he's that worried about Phony (lol, get a clue Math. Sony only cares about the TRUE hackers, not wannabe posers who hang off the skirt-tails of their betters and don't know jack shit) then he wouldn't have "hinted" at anything.
But nope, typical Math.

Do all games work now?
I have tried to get Pinball Williams Classic collection working but just a black screen. This is on internal, KMEAW 3.55, Multiman 1.16.05 and with the pkg that enables backup. Other games work just fine.

Yeah, pretty much every game works -- if you have a black-screen game, stick it on External and try to load via the SELECT+X method in MultiMan. Sadly this only works on External for the moment, so the game has to be able to fit on there. It worked flawlessly for the older black-screen games like MW/AC/Megadrive Collection, and even newer titles like Venetica.

Nope, sorry. Honestly.. just install the Cert27 bypass. If you've got CFW and pirated material on your PS3, whether you connect to PSN or not, you're going to get banned eventually. Why not take advantage of the temporary PSN access to grab some of the stuff you want?

Look like Sony is really going the way of satellite TV providers vs FTA. Those who are familiar with that scene will know what i mean.
I never thought they would go this far but they are actually doing it. It's not as extreme as with FTA (providers and Feds setting us bogues sites to lure hackers , paid people within the scene to turn informant ect) but they sure are not going soft either.

So, found something interesting today. While FuckPSN works for online, if you try to use netflix, it knows that you're still on 3.55 and wants you to update to 3.56. I wonder if this is because netflix uses a different certificate than the 24/27 that you replace with fuckPSN?
Edit: Guess I'm not the first to notice this: http://ps3crunch.com/how-to-bypass-the-netflix-2-02-update.html
Though, much the same as the last guy on that page, I can not get the app to show as 2.02 even after editing the param.sfo/deleting caches....

btw, a new 3.55 CFW is out that patches the 03.55 string to 03.56 string, so no need for workarounds like CHarles of fuckpsn.
