Jackass - an abominable garbage can full of pensioners' diarrhea faeces / 10. Watched 30 mins into it, then fast-forwarded just to see it get worse and worse. My HDD is now mad at me for having put that miserable gutter onto it. Sad

Megamind - 8/10 - Funny, fun movie! Smile
Tangled - 7/10. It was nice and cute, maybe a bit too cute.
Jackass 3 - Don't know if I can rate it. Some parts were funny, some were not that funny, and some were just disgusting. Though what else can you expect from this kind of movie.

Black Swan..

I don't think the movie was bad at all.. But I guess the huge hype that built up from all the reviews and Oscar rewards kinda made me expect more... I don't know.

I think Portman was great, and that Kunis didn't have a particularly hard role to play, but she did good with what she had. Visually and musically it was top notch aswell.

But.. Fuck, I don't know how to put this - I "know" it's good, but I'm not just feeling it. I have read close to nothing about the movie, yet it somehow felt like you kinda knew what was going on and what was going to happen before it happened. Maybe I've subconsiously picked things up about the movie, I mean it's hard to avoid such a big film. I don't know..

I kinda feel like

Actually Black Swan won just 1 Oscar so the hype can't come from "all the oscars rewards"...

Oh shit, you're right, my bad.. I thought I remembered that it won Best Picture, but yeah, Portman was the one who got the only Oscar.

Interesting how we watched the movie with totally different views. You focused on

but I focused on the development of the character and her relationship to her mother. To me it was a different genre than Fight Club.

How Do You Know - 7/10
Love and Other Drugs - 8/10
Morning Glory - 9/10
Drive Angry 3D - 9.99/10

I know, I know. Had to watch some rom-coms with the missus since I had been plodding on without her lately. But, seriously... for a dumb, fun sit in your chair and become transfixed movie, Drive Angry RULED!

I literally left the theater thinking that I had experienced 8 hours of non-stop action. I haven't been so emotionally and mentally involved in such a movie in a long time. I really felt like I was along for the ride. I loved it for the cheesy, over-the-top bullsihit of a movie it was.

Drive Angry 6/10
The Way Back 7/10 , what the fuck happend ?
the editing was all over the place and it seemed like alot of the movie ended up being cut
direction was also bewilderlingly bad , no atention to detail , nothing.

I have to check out some shit , if gulag prisoners were really shaved , and i'm not only talking about their heads. At least Colin Farrel's character seemed pretty authentic , but the rest seemd out of place with all the cleanlyness they were showing , no rotten teeth ,clothes didnt seem worn out and stuff like that.I'm not nitpicking but it's totally obvious , like changes from on-location shooting to shitty sets.
-20 outside and they must have been dead since they aren't blowing any smoke only in wide shots where it's clearly not a set.
I'll have to ask a relative of mine who was at a gulag when he was 16 or 17 for some info.
