just saw the gamespot video review, they were unfair i reckon, 20 hours is wrong as many havne't got half way through and they are on over 13 hours,
plus imo the story and environment is what makes the games, if it has a good atmosphere and addictive story i wont stop playing it.

im not complaining. they are good enough for me. but dont think too much about it while your playing, that would ruin the story. they are totally acceptable.

what do you but dont think about it when your playing are you saying they are pretty bad but acceptable or good and acceptable?
oviously the ingame quality will be nnormal and then the movies wll be worse but is it good

lol what i meant was that we shouldnt focus on the quality too much, so the story would get lost.
but the quality is totally ok. its good and acceptable. i havent seen the dvd9, but im totally happy with this.

on my 32 inch boob tube panasonic, the movies look pretty good.. I was afraid this be like really blocky and whatnot, but I was wrong. You can see some minor artifacting but the movies are still very clear.

im on chapter 5 now and have played about 20 hrs.
brilliant game. well worth buying if u have the money hehe.
im reckoning about 30-40 hrs to finish the game. ive done all quests and sub quests ive found so thats not too bad. i thought it was gonna be short by all the rumours spreading about 20 hrs total.
i still have to master harmonic combos atm i dont have much of a clue probably cos i didnt have the skills to pull them off before.
well back to the game...

Harmonic combos are pretty simple. If you press start and look at your styles it will tell you what moves of the style can start or finish a harmonic combo. You have to go into "detailed info". It will say something like "This style's area attack can initiate a harmonic combo". Once you do the initiating move then a timer will appear at the feet of your target. Switch style and hit the target with a finishing move before the timer runs out.
