The dialogue wheel is also a bit sad... Because you know "this is good, this is a joke, this is bad." It doesn't even make people think a bit about what they are actually going to say.
I liked it in Mass Effect but that was a different game. It had his own niche genre. RPGs had a formula that worked for many many years. Why change something if it isn't broken?

You can change equipment like weapons and rings and stuff but so far the armor looked quite limited. There are some tiny empty boxes next to the party member's armor slot that may be for other armor sets or something like that.
I noticed this when i got an armor item that I had no interest in using (since i'm a mage) and I wanted to use it on my fighter. |
Some sort of runes, you can equip them on you party members and it upgrades their armor I suppose.
Gay at any rate. |

Yeah i saw those runes. Didn't use them yet, though. I also found alchemy kind of weird. It was late and I was already half asleep but I got the feeling that you don't use reagents like in most games.
I caught a mushroom that could be used to make some poison. In the alchemy bench it said the requirements where 1 mushroom. I created the poison and the mushroom count didn't go down. So i clicked again in the hope of seeing "You're out of ingredients" but it kept on making potions. So i think you need to find X of this and Y of this to open the formula and that's it. You'll be able to spam them for money.
Also i have alot of cash, 25 gold coins. From the item prices I saw that looks like alot of money, since most stuff is between 70 silver and 7 gold (i did see some uber weapon that costed like 30g).

omfg.... so they derped this game.... 
Really... ive been ignoring this thread to make the wait a bit easier and then see this. Someone should make me a developer shooter/slasher cause i really want to kick a couple in the face

With isometric camera you cant see the awesome that happens when you press a button instead you get DERPometric camera - Think like a derp fight like a spartan

 decisions, seriously what's the point of getting derp fans when you piss of former fans for good, at best you'll earn a couple of 10 000$ more but from a long-term business standpoint it's not worth it, a bad call.
It's like they are trying to solve a non-math problem using math, and not everything can be solved with math especially if your formula is bad
sequel2000 == old fans + new streamlined fans = double the $$

Lalalalala. I'm just glad Bioware are showing what a shitty studio they always were. Anyone sells out to EA deserves to fail. Sadly they won't fail, at least not yet...

Well all the things that were posted so far were pretty much known already from the demo/reviews/other sources. Of the two things i care about - the story and the characters there is still no word.

Havent tried it yet. Woke up this morning and tried decompressing the rar i downloaded from usenet, but some of the volumes were corrupted.
Will try it this evening and post my opinions on it.
Regarding the alchemy questions someone posted earlier. They changed the way crafting works, you only need to find the ingredient for a crafting recipe once, from then on it will always be available. So if you find 1 mushroom, that type of mushroom will always be available on the crafting "bench"... at least thats what i understood from the interviews.

Wow. Didn't know about the alchemy. That's insane! Way to find a middle ground between item hunting and doing nothing at all. Why not remove alchemy altogether and just have some NPC handing out free potions near the town gate? Or enemies dropping health and mana power-ups? Ah, right, that's Devil May Cry.

The game can't be unlocked until the launch date?????? The myth of the invincible consoles...
Really, those Bioware pundits are on the bright side of the planet. I thought that there are quite a few programs that are patching that nice protection feature on the consoles.
And a DVD can't have 7.39gb. True! It can go up to 8.3, or if it's a blu-ray disc can go to 40gb, but i guess the Bioware fans are a bit behind times. They still didn't hear about dual layer DVD's or Blu-Ray discs. And a video can always be full of trojans, because the kids are failing to see the attached exe: dragon age 2 avi.exe.
Going back to DA2: can you spell Mass Age? Dragon Effect? Age Effect? Mass Dragon? Or even better: can you say Dynasty Warrior/Warrior Orochi/Samurai Warriors? Because in terms of gameplay, DA2 has nothing to do with DA Origins.
It's "streamlined" so the game would sell to the kewl kidz that are "true Bioware fans". It provides "unprecedented levels of immerssion". So don't bash this "masterpiece" that Bioware brought upon us. We must be truly blessed to be allowed to play those Bioware games:D

He's right about their stories (basically teh same concept and flow in different settings) and morality (totally black/white), but I like the combat in Bioware games.
Naming the Final Fantasy series as more creative than Bioware games? Now that shit was hilarious.

Try out the game when it comes out on PC, maybe it will be better (at least maybe we'll get isometric camera in PC version).
