Thanks! So with the patch that fixes bugs related to the extra suits + this, the PC version becomes identical to the PS360 + Ignition unlocks, hm?

And we should no longer need the "complete" savefiles that were being spread around (unless we want everything unlocked from the start), correct?

No. The hacker suit is in the conduit rooms, some of the suits like the arctic suit are given on completion of higher difficulties. The rest of the suits and weapons are in the store from the start. FLT just need to crack the SOB.

Yup, it's real. Glad they cracked this, I have the original but I always like to make sure I have a cracked version as well.

Yup, it's real. Glad they cracked this, I have the original but I always like to make sure I have a cracked version as well.

i made myself simple *.bat file for renaming DAT files to use you unlock of Conduit rooms

Wow.. I can't believe it's such a complicated procedure to put in the driver the proper AA compatibility bits.. You have to ask the publisher and make sure there's no in-game AA option even if it's only a blur filter.

To be fair I guess informing the publisher is a good idea, because they might be working on an upcoming patch that could be incompatible with the AA compatibility bits you want to put in the drivers, but still..

2) The .nfo/readme lists "mouse button de-bounce fixes" as one of the changes. What exactly is this supposed to mean?

I will play this fine game shortly and I have a few questions:
I've read that the patch gives you some weapons and suits for free - isn't that stupid? I mean doesn't that make the game too easy?

Also, I'm not sure on which difficulty I should play the game. I want a good challenge without getting frustrated. I finished DS1 on normal and I thought I should play DS2 on Survivalist, just like the game suggests, but a few pages back someone wrote DS2 on normal is like DS1 on hard is that true?

And lastly, what can I find in these conduit rooms? Only more free items that could make the game too easy? I think I've read something about missing story pieces when the game came out. Is that just text logs or are there audio logs as well? Do you understand this part of the story if you don't know Dead Space Ignition? I fear the game might be better without the conduit rooms....
