yeah thats what i meant downsaampled, somehting like choas theory with worse quality vids. etc.
dryan....what dv+R DL dual layer disc should i use, i have the dual layer hard drive but i am told most dual layer media dont work on xbox,
tell me what disc and i will buy a few of them (in case any other game comes that that is dvd9 also and try jade empire on it,
if dvd9 works with the media then i will do it all the time but i dont want to spend £5 and then it doesn't work.

is this game no good without the videos then ? i usually skip em in most games because i have no patience
I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

this story it mesant to be the driving force of the game
its an rpg it need vids,
wait for the down sample release. should only be a few days
you will enjoy the game the way it should be, without a story the game will be irrelevant
can somoene recommend me a type of dual layer dvd+R media to use that will work on xbox for jade empire dvd9 then?

probably the best quality dual layer dvd+r's are the verbatim ones, jade empire may work ok on one depending on yer burner, the dvd drive in yer xbox etc..

has anyone finished recompressing with rad program?...let us know if it manages to fit and the quality in the games cause that would be the best option in that case.

not everyone can put the dvd9 on the hdd (i dont have enough money to upgrade my hdd, and dual layer discs def dont work
i dont want any of the main movies ripped, if someone manages to get this to dvd5 while keeping the story intact i will love them forever!.

Has anyone actually tested this release vs the DVD9 release to see which movies are ripped out?
Just doing some thinking, if the DVD5 rip is about 2gb less than the DVD9, and the bonus disk is about 2gb then maybe DVD5 rip + bonus disk = DVD9?

no the dvd9 is the game WITHOUT THE BONUS DISK meaning you need to get the dvd9 AND the bonus disk to have everything,
so 2gb is something in the game, the conker demo is about 0.5 gig leaving 1.5 gig to go somewhere and that why the groups just eleted alot of videos (more than half as the video are 2.5 gig in this game!)
so either somone compresses them to 50% or find something else that is big and can be deleted otherwise your best off trying to burn the dvd9 to dual layer or getting it to your hdd (im gonna try dual layer)

There is nothing else to delete other than the conker demo.
Either someone has to compress the videos or audio to shit, or you have to run it off the hardrive (unless of course you just want to delete over half the movies), because apparently using written DVD9 disks on the xbox destroys the lazer.

i will prob buy it then dont wont to hurt my poor xbox!
after all its my kind of game and one in very few that i would be willing to pay for.
plus i still need to get MC3 world champ snooker and wrestlemania
