they fixed time ago with dead rising 2 and Microsoft SSA and ZDPP the generic keys system. so if you enter a key of other old bought games they will don't work anymore

It's unplayable here, I get under 10fps with no aa and medium settings, with a gtx 260, sounds like a bug .... anyone found a fix ?

Played 1 h,
Pros :
Nice skill kills, really satisfying when you cripple the bastards .
Runs pretty well on my machine, even tho the windows is fucked up .
Cons :
Bad textures
Some bad contrasts at the beginning .
Bugs
Stuttering
The tough ass wanna be voice which isnt that cool to be honest .
You just walk and shoot .
This game should have been released in early 2008 .

hmm, runs smooth at 60 fps without AA @ 1920x1080 but 8x drops it down to steady 30fps only?!
Would think that you would see some ups and down, but it stays steady capped at 30

I used to have the same issue in Mass Effect; no AA? 60fps locked. AA? 30fps.

yea i actually noticed once i went ingame and played, some area's gave me steady 60 fps, but if i looked like 5 degrees the other way, it drops back to 30...
My system should be good enough to handle UE3 games to the max :\
cant remember how i ran on ME1, still had older gfxcard back then, and i think cpu aswell
Edit, 4x AA goes 60 fps all the way everywhere i look...
Time to maybe replace my HD6870?!

JB spoke of it a few pages back, it's the way vsync (which is always enabled by default in UE3 games; bsmoothframerate true) works; if you can get 60, it locks at 60. If you can't, it defaults down to the next half; 30.

Try looking through the INI files and setting "bsmoothframerate" to FALSE instead of TRUE.

hm when i try to log live in tinker im prompted to enter a cdkey i try with random 1111 but says that the key is not valid?

Wait, you want to buy the game through Steam?
All you have to do is just launch Steam, find the game in the store and buy it, lol.. Not exactly sure what you're asking here, or why you're using a proxy to buy a game off Steam.

Well i would not call that bad optimization if you are capped to 30fps. Seems that there is some bug with AA. Does the game have option for the AA or Forced via drivers?
