Guys if you really are that desperate to play and you can't wait some simple hours for a crack to come out than try this method.
Hey it does not save your game but at least it's an easy method to do and you get to tase the game.
"You can play this game without a crack, but you cannot save until one is released. I just verified this and played the first level and a half.
Navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA\Bulletstorm\Binaries\Win32
Rename the file:
ShippingPC-StormGame.exe.cat
to
ShippingPC-StormGame.exe.cat-backup"
Cheers...

Game runs like ass on 1440x900 even on low.
I switch to 1360x1154 or some wierd option and I get 60fps with ocassional dips to 20s on high.

there is "protection" that can't be removed. it is Game For Windows Live

True dat. I might have an excuse though, as I didn't play that game. Probably because I could see how low the FPS is through the screenshots.

no need for the tinker method. just install, enter any key. start the game, create live account (or use existing), game will say 111111111111111111111111111 key is invalid,accept that, press enter again, game says cant login, but the mainmenu pops up. have to do this every time u boot up the game, but savings works without problems
but game is very bad optimized and doenst look that good

i have mixed feelings with this one, the skillshot system is kinda refreshing the rest is your typical console shooter.
most of the time you will be running down corridor like places with only the possiblity to strafe a bit, pulling and kicking enemies puts them in some kind of bullettime and they are way easier to kill. loads of skillshots and quicktime events from time to time, the story is utter crap so far
