To be formally revealed later this year, EA's new studio "Victory Games" helmed by Might and Magic creator Jon Van Caneghem is developing a new C&C PC game.
There's speculation it's going to be a digital only product (and I wouldn't be surprised if it will be F2P like the new AoE)

It died when Westwood died yeah. Generals was EA and was crap. C&C4 was even crappier. C&C3 was ok though, but could have been lot better. Let's hope for the best.

Revive? I didn't know it was dead...C&C 3, 4 and RA3 have all come out in recent years.

Read the interview in ixigia's link. It's a re-launch of the franchise by a new studio, and they're creating more than merely yet another C&C game; they're creating a "platform" to last 10+ years.

Generals was a great game, albeit a great missuse of the cnc name (since it had nothing to do with it), other than thatm it was a very good rts, one of the best actually.
For cnc i agree, it died after ra2 and yuri
