My offline profile is there.
- If I select it however it says I selected an offline profile and I need to either select an online one or sign up to live now (in the case I don't have an online one already). So basically you can't select an offline profile.
- If I select my online profile it needs a legit key.

So this seems to be the protection though they remove this issue and you can log offline without key.

Sign in with your live account and when it asks for a key, enter an old live key. it'll say key is invalid and asks for key again but this time press Esc. now you're in with your live account in offline mode.
unfortunately you have to do it every time you launch the game.
Edit: if you have created a new live account, after entering the key you'll see "downloading profile ..." window and it fails right there, so you have to use an old live game like RE5, Gear of wars,... to set up your live acount for the first time.

Confirmed working. Also confirmed it saves the progress successfully.  So the game is cracked as far as I am concerned

It works. Even achievement work! I just got my first
And it doesn't actually use my key since it said it's invalid.. so it's win-win

im at 97% damn it.I dont have another live key but it says invalid so ill try some random key not only X or 0 and will see what happens
Edit:Now i see it will not work i cant go online with non legit key in order to bypass this.
