Android is already Java (although not writing it in the NDK would be hilariously moronic, but he did write it in Java in the first place, so you never know.
At any rate, it's in OpenGL, now to be ported to OpenGL ES, so the bulk of it should be rather easy to port. Of course, it would require a lot of optimization for the tiny devices, as it wasn't the most optimized code for PC either. Again, Java - lolol

If I were in his place, I'd invest in a small team of good programmers to port it to gnu C++, then I can port it to any platform, consoles, phones ... before any good clones show up.
