right i ripped the extra languages, demo, and relinked the credits and about 10 different ending movies which were hugh files but boring to watch, works fine on dvd5 now

well everything apart from those ending videos sounded GREAT
are they the conclusion to the story, should that be an important part?
if they are useless......then give it a proper release so we can all sample your geniusness (a wrod???) anyway yeah i will be VERY interested if the ednigng videos are as useless as you say they are.

exactly, i would like the ending movies surely........can you expolain why they were boring....aren''t they the story ending, its like watching a TV series without watching the final episode surely?
i understand these are bulk and the reason you get it onto dvd5 but i would rather risk using a dual layers disc even if it dont work if this is the only dvd5 possible.

Just curious I have the DVD9 version on my HDD in my xbox and when I get to fighting Gao the game locks up. Anyone else had this issue?

i really hope dual layer works cause t look pretty imopssible to succsessfgully get this game on dvd5 without taking out important movies.

As for framerate, the 360 version runs smooth, while the PS3 is a jaggy mess that chugs along in slow motion.

i think it means deleting.....not sur ehtough...if he deleted the ending movies it wouldn't be very good unless the ending movies aren't a part of the story (which i doubt)

well the rip is a bad one so i think i will wait for another (better) rip.
okay dual layer is out...
come on good dvd5 rip!!!! (languages, demo, anything that will make is small enough.....PLEASE KEEP HE NECESARY VIDEO THOUGH!!!!)

Has been answere before on page 1, but ok
"Directly from the official JE forum.
How do I access the Bonus Character "Monk Zeng" included with the Limited Edition of Jade Empire?
1.) Place the Limited Edition Bonus Content Disk into your Xbox.
2.) Select "Monk Zeng Content" which is the first option available in the menu.
3.) Press the "A" button on your Xbox controller to unlock the Monk Zeng character and his Monk Spade fighting Style.
4.) Remove the Limited Edition Bonus Content Disk from your Xbox.
5.) Place the Jade Empire game disk in your Xbox and restart it.
6.) Monk Zeng will now be available via the "Character Selection" screen when you start a new game
So basically LE Version has 2 discs, 1st disc the game 2nd the bonus+extra character "

hopefully its something as simple as a save to unlock but doubt it heavily . hopefully the monk zeng content shall be released as i really have no interest in how they made the game :/

probably needs to be bitset to dvdrom to work, dvd+r dont work on my xbox unless bit set to dvdrom (lots of writers auto bitset dual layer dvd+r to dvdrom)

PIONEER A08 sets bitset to dvdrom automatically on DVD+R DL, its all down to the xbox in the end, some will work some won't, i tried 3 and only 1 worked, you won't know till you try it.
Anyway i ftp this game to xbox HD, wish i hadn't bothered really - played for 30mins and wasn't to impressed, fighting getting abit too repetative for my liking.

The verbatim DVD+R DL disks work just fine... As a matter of fact they're probable the highest quality double layer disks that you can buy...
I'm playing Jade right now off of a verbatim DVD+R DL disk so I guess thats proof that it works...

Could anybody explain how to compress the Videos with RAD-Tools, i never used it before. Do i have to select a video and then pres on the "blink it" button with a compression of 40%?
Pls help, so i can rip it myself :/

i dont know, im not sure if another group will rerelease it for dvd5, i am gonna buy two discs and try it out. if it work i will be happy, just need to find the damn dvd9 (have got the dvd5 but dont want it!)

just burnt it to a Verbatim double layer, first time load took several minutes, even in options menu it took very long and my xbox samsung drive makes bad noises. Second Time loaded flawlessly but from time to time at the beginning of the game the xbox makes bad loading noises again, its not the ultimate solution for me I just wait for a better DVD5 rip, cause its not worth it to ruin my laser with this shit.
