Game updated to v.86 build5
Played with a friend for almost 3 hours without any glitches.
Had real fun trying to master the Ford Shelby GT500 on the Ibiza track.

On top of that, devs announced that the next dlc will be free as a compensation for fellow customer's patience.
This dlc will include two famous cars : the Lancia Stratos and the Dodge Charger 69.
Unlockable by discovering wrecks.

If the Charger 69 (aka General lee) will be as fun to master as the GT500 it will be a blast!

I hate driving schools in this game. Simply hate! Especially that Classic School where that metro-gay-sexual instructor keep telling same shit after I keep hitting barrels with this wobbly jaguar from 70s. I don't understand why this game doesn't have an easy option (full assistance driving doesn't help a bit) for sucky drivers like me.

Maybe I should go to some of the plastic surgery clinics on the island and change my sex to female, it better suits my driving style!

A had a huge problem with that too at first, especially the real challenges on Hawaii when you get that asphalt test early on and the car initially works pretty well and then as always it's swapped to a better model halfway trough which is spinning uncontrollably if you accelerate even a bit too much making those last tests very tedious. Smile
(Apparently the remaining A 3 to A 1 tests are even worse though of course they should be somewhat challenging but the problematic handling unless you use manual shifting and a gamepad or how it was is making it a bit extra frustrating plus the AI cars often drive into you or you accidentally nudge a little cone or get penalty time but it'll feel nice once it's all done and I've passed that stuff eventually, haha.)

Yes I know, in the A5/A4 school, you first drive Audi A5 and than it is swapped with DB9. If you like spinning you should try Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss. It is one fast, cool-sounded, uncontrollable dildo!

I don't blame game. I will leave that to more experienced drivers and simulation fans. In my case it is a noob-factor combined with keyboard!

Damn I REALLY want to give it a try (and now that my 32mbit connection arrived even more) just because of the cars and the open environment. I don't expect much, really :[ But the driving should be atleast as fun as in TDU1 Sad

TDU1 was better as far as I'm concerned. I spent a good amount of hours in that game, and I couldn't get myself to play this for more than 20 minutes Smile

If the driving was fun I could've looked past the Sims bullshit, but no. If the game had Trackmania's handling it would've been more fun :E

It's a shame, because the graphics do look nicer. But the driving "physics" are awful.

At first I was not comfortable with the handling/physics in this game.
Unless I read a sticky post on the official forum that shows and explain what exactly those sliders does (Controller settings).
Sliders to the left doesn't everytime mean zero nor full right mean 100%

But now with my Xbox360 correctly configured : it rocks !
Had tried with an old steering wheel (thrustmaster FFB racing) was good but only generic FFB.
And I find me more efficient with the game pad.

As reference, I hated NFS 3,4,5,6.... and other arcadish thingies.
I liked the first NFS and Porsches unleashed one and the last Hot pursuit.
I loved GTR from simbin, GRID, Dirt, Toca series...

And yet, it makes almost 2 weeks I sleep barely 3 hours a night because of playing TDU 2.
Exploring, racing, gambling at the casino, buy new shoes ... Haircuts ... Lol

To much to do and not enough time, that's it.

For the second part, I meant that I enjoyed those games even if they are still far from an hardcore racing simulation.
To make it short I have to disagree then I read that TDU2 is a stinky arcadish pos.

That, my friend, is pure trolling at its finest. The last HP is one of the worst ones. It's not "arcadish", it's as arcade as it gets.

And this game is no better. I didn't have problems driving the cars, on the contrary, I already figured out how to configure my 360 pad properly in this. No, when I get a Delta Integrale and find out it's fucking GLUED to the road, that's the first hint. After that I figured I'd yank the handbrake to see how the game handled that and well..it didn't :/

Honestly, GRID is a sim compared to this. Hell, even DIRT 2 is a sim compared to this.

Sorry, I should have added that Skidrow version is ENG/RUS, Reloaded is multi5.
Reloaded version should work with Skidrow updates.
