So then it seems that this should be the next... "Gothic" game? Smile

Nope. But this will definitely be a next Piranha Bytes game Smile

I just wish KaiRo would be responsible for the music. Sadly, he's not a Piranha anymore.

Well I didn't mean that by name, obviously. More like a "spiritual" successor. But more than Dragon Age was for Baldur's Gate though. Wink

Look at Risen vs. the so-called "Gothic" IV.

I'm actually more enthusiastic about this than about Dragon Age 2.

3 new "proper" shots here. Also official website is up. Nothing much to see there, thought, atm.

Anyway, all the info so far is looking good. Smile

As a Baldur's Gate II old-fart-"junkie" I would probably walk the blasphemer's path if I was surprised, I guess, eh? Wink

Just remember to stick to your chosen faction in game Smile

On my second playthrough I did a lot of quests both for the Inquisition and Bandits ( jumped over the wall of the monastery ) and the game got crazy, because it didn't know what faction I really was.

For example- The Inquisitor bashed me for being a money-grubbing bandit and told me he'd buy the crystal discs and immediately after he gave me an order to get them ( as a Novice I had to do it:) ). Don Esteban did the same thing. And I was stuck with novice robes till I got the Titan armor.

Didn't care though, still got Force Crystal training so nothing hostile ever got near me and lived:)

Dammit. Sad
Could've kept archery along with the newly introduced rifles.
Although in a sea pirate context, archery doesn't really fit in.

But this is "third-hand" information after all, so it might not be true.

It's a summary of a translation from a german PC magazine which got info from PB.
It can still change or be just inaccurate.

Still, it's not a big deal for me. I'm more interested in those non-linear side quests ( plus less fetch quests ) and more content in later chapters Smile

It's great if they change it for a pirate setting. I'm tired of playing the same setting rpg's over and over.

When am i gonna get a "Cowboys & Indians" or a "Feudal Japan" rpg, oh game Gods??

Crying or Very sad . I take it you don't like a lot of rpgs then.

Theirs actually quite a few JRPGs that are in Feudal Japan. Surprised. But I see your point, a western rpg set in feudal japan.
