JSRF was so awesome, even better than the original- which is rare as hell - and we could be playing it today if we actually had emulators. The whole lack of xbox1 emulation is really bugging me. The damned thing is a PC! It's a piece of crap PC with a GeForce 3, an Intel Celeron and 64MB of RAM. Yet there still aren't any emulators yet. (don't even both, Jack. I know full well about CXBX/DXBX, they don't work)

Of all the machines out there, you'd have thought the Xbox 1 would be amongst the least difficult to get software working.

actually,my main "correction" this time is on the x-box=PC side,Blueshogun himself said-while the PC and X-box has similar hardware, doesn't make them "easier" emulate, there is an whole FAQ about this

Quote:
Is a PC easy to emulate? Well, I wouldn't say so myself. Take a look at the source code from bochs. A lot of source code/work isn't it?

nevertheless,x-box emulation at least is not as "important" as the Wii or PS2,Imo,while I still loved it to be emulated,it's not going to happen soon, but at least most of it's games are on other platform so PC+PCSX2+Dolphin pretty much every X-box game Surprised

JGR is rare? You can get it for $10, here in the US.

So, what do you mean by that, if you aren't talking about emulating the system? Surely you don't believe that there could be a way to execute Xbox code outside of an emulation environment?

Bah, why did you quote him? >_< Sigh. To explain (not that it actually requires it, but hey... Rolling Eyes) I was referring to the fact that Future, the followup, was better than the original. That's a rare thing.

I still have one of my modded machines back in England, my elder brother has it, but it would sure be nice to have emulation available. Oh well, given the current state of DXBX/CXBX, it's a pipe dream unlikely to be fulfilled for many, many years.
