Just got the repacked 22 GB version posted on usenet. Extracted fine, in case anyone was wondering due to there not being pars. Will test it out later on PS3.

good game, the art direction is simply outstanding and the sound is well done too. simply the best FPS engine on any console to date now they fixed the control issues. The lighting engine on this game is breathtaking in parts. Crysis on PC will no doubt look astounding, but it has a lot to live up to on console, for me unless Crysis 2 can surpass KZ3, then this well for sure be the benchmark for this generation in terms of console FPS engine.
As far as he story goes, i dont get what the reviewers piss and moan about. It plays out like a decent Sci FI action fest that doesnt take itself too seriously. Not everygame has to be mass effect 2.
9/10 from me on SP, simply a superb game, yea we've seen it all before but its simply put a joy to play and a joy to look at

So does anything fix the sound issue or is it something we're just going to have to deal with.
It get's annoying but I have dealt with it so far.
Does using a different game loader resolve sound issues..?
Does using a newer version of multiman resolve the sound issue?
Or does grabbing the Killzone 3 PS3-DUPLEX release resolve all issues...?
I would rather not go this route but I will if all else fails..
Don't really care about 3D as I don't have a 3D TV to enjoy the effects offered.
Thanks for any input. Other than the glitches I'm enjoying the game and I like it better than Killzone 2 so far.

Found some more information on this release.
From the quote it may be the release and not the game loaders.

dunno im playing the first 22gb mrblack realease the sound looped a few times but its not a big deal at all.5 hours into the campaign atm, its aweesome surely better than kzone 2.

hmm i use proper eboot for 3.41 but its still giving me a black screen after the move screen, i try'd multiman 1.15 and openmanager.

Where can i do that in multiman, i did it in openmanager but no luck and i did the patching with R1 in Multiman but still the same issue, i use the 3.41 eboot from mote thats confirmed working.

Let us know if it works. I am on 3.41 with the latest gaia manager so I hope it works with that program as well. Downloading the game now, even though I don't have a 3D TV, I'd rather get the full version then some version that has been heavily edited..So glad that I waited for the official scene release then downloading those other versions that were floating around, those had too many issues or so I had heard

I would advise using gaia...I had problems with multiman too. Same black screen crap,but gaia worked.
The rip in question works though,so it's not that afaik.

Download the DUPLEX one..that is the legit scene release, or so it says on abgx..if anyone has downloaded it, please let us know if it works..I am in the process of downloading it now..does MEM patch have to be ON or OFF to play this game through gaia

I got another version of gaia that is working but all the same, so no luck i've been trying to get this work the whole evening now, could have actually done better and more fun things with my time, i guess this is the reason i barely play on my ps3 its just to time consuming to play a game. I hope that changes in the future.

Quick question regarding KZ2. Is that huge fight against Mr Invisible in the big room pretty much the end?
I ask as I'm trying to finish KZ2 but that final part is a ball ache and can't be bothered.
