I remember playing those games back in the middle 90's and me and some friends nearly passing out from laughter. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen a mention of it at all in either the console section or the PC section as it came out two days ago. Only found the wii version online - no thanks! Smile By far one of the best, and certainly the funniest, trivia games ever made.

PC version is botched, avoid buying: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=25846541&postcount=162

I was just browsing the steam forums and it looks like the PC version has no 360 controller support or button remapping. Also local multiplayer only and it's limited to 2 players. Sad

This game is effin' hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud on too many instances, losing time to think of an answer. The questions are smart and require more thinking, as the answer is NEVER obvious, and each question is a different pop culture or historical reference. Amazing trivia game, well executed.

2 problems though. One, only 2 players on the PC. For one, you can get at least two on the keyboard, even 3 as it only requires 4 keys. And then you could use additional gamepads or 4-button mouses as additional controllers. But obviously they didn't bother. And two, the questions are fixed and in the same order no matter how many times you try the same episode, so it's not just 73 permutations of the game mechanics and different rounds, it's just 73 * 10 different questions. What that means is that once you've played an episode you know the answers, there's no replay value in this episode. What it needs is a mode where you get random questions out of the full set, like Friends Trivia did some years ago.

But otherwise, lots of laughs until you finish it. Even better to have a friend over, good at either history or pop culture and smart enough (or all of the above).

i remember you could play at least up to 3 on keyboard in the first one

i wonder if it's the keyboard shrinking or people getting fatter?
or is it just dev laziness Sad

@psikobare:

There's no good explanation. Probably developer laziness. They couldn't bother with the DirectX controller API I guess. As if that's too hard. Isn't there an abstraction layer in windows that translates all different controllers and such to Button 1, Button 2 etc. inputs?
