Documentary as a genre is getting stretched thin if Life After People is one Very Happy

Is it any good? More story science-like rather then documentary I am guessing. Just grabbed it before your comment. I like those end of the world scenarios.

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Season 1 is good, season 2 was Stretching It though it got a bit boring still good though.

It's online: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6737097743434902428#

I started, I think the first one - about what happens to the bodies. Got maybe 10 mins into it. I found that one boring so I switched to another movie I wanted to see more
I don't really care that much about what happens to the bodies. When I have a lull in movies I will go back to it.

I am more interested into how life and the modern world falls on a bigger scale, nuclear stuff, dams giving way, massive building falling, how animal life changes. I was told once that if the earth flooded goldfish would be the dominant fish because they so abundant as peoples pets and are so hardy they would out compete the natural species.

It would of been better if a few humans survived for me, we are resourceful people after all. To watch their struggles. The super smart but soft scientist guy or gal that now has to make it in a world without tech, living in the street scavenging. The street smart homeless guy who lives one day at a time, carving a life outta nothing, whose existence hasn't really changed that much at all. -The making of many a good movie.

+1 on Cocaine Cowboys. Seen it three times, really like it.

And I guess Inside Job has been mentioned before, but I hadn't seen it until yesterday. It's a great documentary, but very infuriating.

Wall Street guys rape the whole world, and the world turns around and goes to sleep. Perfect.

Both of those are hardcore. I highly recommend them as well.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one
