yeah yeah, you make fun, but i know all of you are gonna download this day 1 and load up the game just to see the outfits... 
ill download but i wont bother installing until that final 'big' me2 dlc arrives... personally im betting itll be another race track for the hammerhead!

Do not forget two more Appearance Packs and the pre-order/collection items in combination with one new armor/weapon/whatever item.
Just take a look at the Aegis and Equalizer packs. 'nough said...

just downloading the new appearance pack. 90mb . for 3 new outfits. lulz
and obviously half of thats that stupid update... but its so stupid, i mean who STARTS their dlc adventure with a shitty alt appearance pack? everyone who has the game and would get this crap would HAVE the update alread - and if its that big of a problem, just refuse to install unless the games updated first... 90 mb for whats little more than 3 reskins, i mean holy fuck

I've been unpacking them manually to avoid it re-patching, patch itself is 45 MB so only half of that size, various packages for the three characters in multiple configurations take the rest of the size (UE3 really likes to pack or "cook" things in these ways it seems.)
It's pretty pointless (Armor has no statistics for companions besides appearance.) but as a free addon it adds some nice visuals to these three. (Bioware must really like this Visor/Glasses cover thing was in the previous pack and now Grunt gets two visors and even Tali gets one inside that glass bulb face cover.)

oh man, and to top it all off... i just ran the game... these outfits are fucking ugly!theyre WORSE than the default outfits you get before you gain their loyalty. the best one is easily grunts, but it makes him look like a fucking christmas tree!
atleast the first appearance pack was kinda decent... garrus's one looked sweet, and while i coulda done without the shades, thanes one was pretty good too...
but these.. its like theyre not even trying anymore.
know what? i bet thats what it is... this was a test.. they were testing to see just how hooked on dlc gamers are, and just how far they can go before ppl actually get angry about the low quality dlc shit theyre getting! AH-HA! IVE GOT YOU FIGURED OUT, BIOWARE!
AND WE ARE NOT AMUSED!

I finally bought the original ME2 (retail DVD version), is it somehow possible to compromise the original CD key if I install the DLCs and activate them with the unlocker (I don't plan to log on to Cerberus Network or to use any of these free junk, I'm only interested in Kasumi and Lair of the Shadow Broker)?

is there any benefit to using your cd key other than the dlc? why not just use the crack? or are you after the achievements or something.
