How much disk space you needed for TDU1? This one needs 14 gigs! It is truly gigantic.
ZX Spectrum 16K/48K | Grundig C410 cassette recorder (adjustable head) | 20BT TV Philips Multistandard Color V37cm | ZX Interface 2 | New Kempston Compatible Competition Pro Switched Joystick | Sinclair BASIC OS

You can only cash in when it says you can. It shows up the A button and "Cash In" on that meter.

Enter and Backspace works for me (Accept and Cancel, ESC just quits the current menu altogether.), have to be quick though or else the bar either dimnishes (Not being active.) or disappears entirely (collision.) or keeps filling (2x and so on if you keep going.)
Seems it's out officially now (Gamersgate at least.) so we should soon see if this version differs from the real retail one and there's talk of a extensive day-1 patch as well.
EDIT: Patch is out for the release version.

That's just the launcher though isn't it, I also let that update and the game itself is un-altered (So Skidrows small alteration of the exe will still work.) but the launcher is patched.

This game is an insult to TDU 1.

Yesterday I saw the game, was happy and grabbed it. Then I came here in the day, see that everyone is bitching and got disappointed. Later in the night I start the game and it's really good. Why are you all bitching again?

My #1 gripe with this game is that its driving model is goddamn horrible compared to TDU1.
I don't see why they needed to change the physics, when they could've just copy pasted it from TDU1 then just go on from there.

I though it was horrible at first, so I set it to expert and after trying 3-4 cars I think it's pretty good. You actually feels the change. My only gripe is that it seems like it don't drift enough, but in other case it do, guess it just depend on the settings.
I also hate techno music / stretch shirt guys by the pool / The Sims elements, but it's just the 2 first minutes and then you are good, not much worse than creating a character in any RPG.
Maps is much more big and diverse than TDU1, schools are great.

Well I was mad at the game at start, but after I gave it a couple of hours (played with gamepad coz keyboard controls = hell) turned off all driving aids, and its fun (sort of). Only thing I did in TDU1 was freeride around the island, this time around there are more islands and they are waaaaay more interesting, so as hard as it is to say this but I'm enjoying it, its not the worst game I got my hands on (ofc far from the best too )
Btw did anyone find an Audi showroom? I want to pay my respects to the Germans
