|
 |
My Laptop is crashing on me all the time so going to take it back to exchange it. The thing is I have saved passwords etc in Firefox, I have bought things online, have saved addresses / telephone numbers etc so want to clear all the data before I take it back
Anyone know the best tool to do this with to make sure all my saved data is wiped?
Thanks

Best is to run a purging software at several passes. So they don't get your nuclear schematics and your plans to assassinate Obama. Damn it, Chloe!

I suspect there's a mole in this thread, working for the terrorists.

lol, well I used a program called Eraser so I could do it in windows and not have to make OS backup discs etc. Just used the inbuilt recovery to recover / format and then did a pass with Eraser
