So if you had any of the releases that are out now, and a valid cd and install key, could you play online? Just single-player is protected, right? So I hear at least.

yeh, a decent 30-dollar deal which will fuck up your comp, force you to uninstall several apps (like clone or daemon), prevent you from making a copy for yourself (if your only copy has some error sometime your're fucked - keep in mind you bought that crap from Ubisoft = 0.0% support in this particular case... LOL), probably do a couple of unpredictable weird things and in addition to all that: feed the cash-hungry developers of SF3. Damn, what a decent deal!

I havent had a problem with having daemon installed on my comp. Sure the lack of making a copy kind of sucks. After having downloaded games for years and played most of them through, if I want a game and it hasnt been cracked for a while I'm willing to fork over some cash (in this case I wouldve been relucantant but $30 for a $50 game is quite nice and I loved the first 2). Also multi is really fun which you couldnt get with a cracked game anyways (aside from LAN). And I'm a college student so even I can afford it.

Someone was saying something about a cdversion of sc:ct protected by securerom 7 .... so who knows ... this one may be a fake but in the future they might be able to crack the cd version rather than the dvd one ...

Actually, brothers in arms and silent hunter 3 has \crack and not /crack in their nfo, and those are non fake.
Also if they cracked starforce they might not need a serial.
But I doubt this release is real, it's probably fake or else it would be all over the place alread since this is a highly anticipated game.
