..Everytime my "internet" light disappears on my modem( which is every few minutes)
I WANT TO KICK IT ON THE NUTZ ;[
Anyone have an idea? I will look for IT, like people look for Noah's Ark!! For the rest of my life, just like Nicolas Cage in NATIONAL TREASURE
seriously, I just got a new modem & ISP run tests on my line and said it was fine but it still keeps going off & on every few minutes

Hmm instead of making jokes, check your side of the cabling, make sure all wires and so are without little fractures and all jacks have potential.

It was first thing that I have done, is bought two new phone wires ~15ft and phone splitter & dsl filter..All brand new
I hooked it all up, and I hear cracking sound on the phone(Tried on two different phones) and internet light going off and on every few minutes
Same thing was happening with old modem & old wires
I will call them again tomorrow, right now I just can't deal with it anymore

Maybe the cabling in your house/building is old and needs repair...

I don't know if you have, but call your phone company not your ISP, it seems like you may have the same problem I did and your phone company needs to increase the gain on your line. They will run a few tests while you are on the phone to them and increase it if possible.
also if you take the front plate off the phone socket there is one behind, plug your filter into that.
All the above is assuming they operate the same way/same equipment in your country as they do here.

my phone company & isp is all the same
You mean phone socket that is located on the well? I took front plate off and there is only one plug...
way I have it connected is,
phone socket > phone splitter > phone splitter lets me connect two phone wires
so one goes to modem and other one goes to filter > phone
I have had to set up going for more than 3 years and never had issues until recently

DSL = FAIL.
Get cable instead (no splitter junk, sharing phone lines). Problems solved!

Actually, Cable is worse then DSL in New York City
At 5A.M you can get up to 20MBps but during peek time from 6P.M to 1A.M your speed will be around 2MBps...forget to download or play games during weekend
More people using cable=slower internet connection since its being shared by everyone
ohh and only one IP, cant download anything from Rapidshare/other sites..with DSL i can always reboot my modem to get new IP
They are suppose to run tests that can last up to 24Hours
Seems phone is fixed now, do not hear any cracking sound and get my 6Mbps..but it still disconnected frequently
