If you need 2-3 hours per chapter you're doing something wrong

Dull game? I'm at Chapter 3 now and the atmosphere in this game is fantastic. Then again, I smell a troll. There hasn't been any backtracking in Dead Space 2 from what I've played. None. Zero.

Is there a way to change the subtitle language ?. I know you can activate subs in the game, but you can't chose which language you want to have.
I'm asking this for my friend. He has the pre-installed english version (10 gb, I think it has ger,rus & eng) but he wants german subs.
I appreciate any help

If your friend version has german, this should work:
Go to appdata/local/eagames/dead space2
Open settings.txt and change Locale to german, don't know if german is "GR" or what, never played a game in german, but you can try 
That'll change subtitles only. |

for me is like this: FLT did it first, so im going with "first" as long as the crack works with the game with no problem. They can shove their proper ... you guys know where, they could of made a crack wayyyyy faster (im talking about the "big" guys -reloaded, skidrow, razor), now they should go back and crack some more "my latino horse" type of games, at least there they can manage lol, instead of wasting time on a proper.

After solar array control pod in the second door (chapter 7) the game crashes everytime. I installed the the version with .dats maybe the FLT (2 dvds) is working in that spot. Downloading FLT dvds. Don't know what else to do, i tried everything.

Awesome, I'll enjoy it then. This is exactly how the best survival horror games play. I've passed 1000000 times from the same corridors in the mansion in Resident Evil 1. AND I LOVED IT!

you pirate always have to play without steam and always you anyway will be server ripped out. this obviously means that steam isn't crackable

Sorry man just a lame game in my opinion. I don't care if it looks good. Or if the atmosphere is "good".
Walking in a straight line to grab an item, then turning around and walking back in a striaght line, while enemies spawn right behind you, and loud annoying music plays to attempt to scare you is just NOT FUN to me.
