Actually they even said they will take all their time to fix the game and we can expect a lot more updates for the game in the upcoming days.

How to play singleplayer / multiplayer online!
I got the multiplayer working with the SKIDROW version without any problems and without using hamachi/tunngle.
1) Installed the SKIDROW version. DONT install the cracked content
2) Immediately installed SKIDROW's update 2, DONT install the crack files for the update either.
3) Made a steam_appid.txt file with the demo's app id (73050) and placed it in the root of the Magicka install folder.
4) Lauched the game with legit steam running in the background
(Note that it must say that you're playing the Magicka demo and anyone else that tries to join the game)
5) Create a game and invite your friend or let your friend send you an invite.
6) Play the game. |
this works for coop?

hmmmm when i try to install the 3.1 XMA package like suggested (or even the one off the game's ISO) the installer crashes...
From what I've read on some other forums is to possibly uninstall windows gaming live and/or netframework, then install XMA, then reinstall gaming and netframework...
Any of you experts have any other suggestions?

It's a fun little game, would be so good for short breaks from work/studies if it had normal saves. Unfortunately, with the way things work now you have to replay really long parts if you quit between chapters...sort of a deal breaker for me because it's just not fun enough for me to play it that long. Maybe they'll add it in future patches...

Just use Shield + Earth as defense. Then go with some beam on them.

Is it stupid if I say this game is difficult? The worst thing of this game is if you exit the game you have play the whole chapter again. That just sucks.

Game fucking crashes all the time after this (4th) patch! Cant play even througt one chapter with no crash

I've tried it, but at the checkout it asks for my telephone number to send a pin number. That operation failed. I was expecting that the next step would be to give them a drop of my blood.
