*drools* Yakuza, LP2 and Uncharted... in your hands. I guess Sony weren't BSing about how powerful this NGP (horrid name though, I preferred PSP2) is going to be. Price is going to absolute insanity and, like Spidey, I'm worried about battery life.

I'm not a fan of the touch screen on the back of the unit.... but who knows... might be cool.

well if the NEW Nintendo 3ds costs as much as a new PS3 SLIM then you can see they will price it at that range 230-300$
but like I said before ,mini PS3 is SHIT when it isn't fully mobile ,when you will be forced to drag a brick of a car battery to power it
3ds on a fully charged battery will run 3hours in 3d mode and 5h in 2d more
if NGP [i get it why they called it like that NGP is aka for NextGenPlatform but it can also be miss translated as Nintendo Gaming Platform and they count on it] is cheaper and has 20-40h run time battery on full charge i will buy it |

But I guess this thing will cost $399 at launch. With all what they have added I doubt the hardware itself will come cheap, and they will have to make it so expensive at the beginning.

3G means monthly payments which means I'm not interested. I really hate how god damn everything in this world is going towards subscription billing systems.
Seriously, it all sounded great until I heard there was 3G connectivity built in. It's a fucking hand held gaming console, why in gods name does it need 3G?

All I wanted to hear was the dual sticks, I am now happy, and I will now purchase this!
Not very into all the touch screen crap, especially the thing on the back. Not too excited about gyro controls either.. A system that finally has all the buttons, and they are trying to do touch and motion crap... bleh.
Hopefully games don't force too much of it on you! Awesome news though.. still waiting on that price point.
ebgames.com has a LOL price holder of $999, haha.

but you don't get 'gps' without 3g 
it's like... make a mobile version of streets and tips and add a small gps chip onto the device and STOP CHARGING PEOPLE BULL SHIT AMOUNTS FOR 500mb a month.

it's a handheld. don't give corps the idea to implement 3g into consoles so you can play wifi when you go camping.

the thing with this console is that yes it looks impressive, but so does the PSP. God, when I first got a PSP i was blown away with the graphics on games like wipeout etc. I am not sure it looks THAT much better than the PSP, but hey these are just launch titles.
I guess all of that said, graphics don't make a good console, the games do - lets just hope there are plenty of A*** developers working on titles
