It doesn't seem to use anything but it might rely on Steam even so, doesn't seem like it though. Smile
(Since it's available elsewhere it might work via LAN and P2P principes.)

EDIT: Didn't want to recognize that I pressed the mouse wheel even though it did cast the spell effect during the tutorial so I had to banana. Razz
(I'll post some images shortly, basically a option used to skip the tutorial.)

EDIT:

The demo looks cool. But I'm a bit worried that it will be a bit unbalanced. Steam(fire+water i believe)+Lightning+Arcane x 3 for example is super powerful.

Hope it gets released soon... wonder if it is simple to crack with some fake steam programs that already exist?

I played some coop with some random guys, and it seems to be very bugged and or lagged for me. One guy died seemingly without reason, same guy later got stuck in a doorway and had to leave the game in order for the game to progress for the rest of us. Then later the other guy was skipping across the screen so I had no idea what he was doing, and when trying to cast spells such as meteor shower it constantly failed eventhough it was the right combo.
So the game is certainly not without issues at this point.

So as usual I guess it's impossible to do any networking with the skidrow version. Since this is a multiplayer coop game I also guess it's pretty boring in single player. Does the game have a split screen mode?? I would love to play with my friends, no matters if it's on the same computer, on LAN or Internet if it's possible in any way. I just know I can't convince 3 of my friends to BUY the game apart from myself so...

Audio is only localized for some cutscenes, most in-game dialog seems like a mixed up Swedish/English combination.

Unsure about the rest but I got the same issue with the tutorial though the game still works.

Is this the game itself built this way? Is it an error that will be fixed in a patch? Is this a skidrow error and we need a skidrowrepackshit?

Heh, 500 MB just because I removed the DX, .Net3.5 and XNA framework redists, still those together are only like 350 MB.
(But does put the game back to 700 MB which I said initially.)

EDIT: Downloaded, raring it and uploading the modified files shortly as usual for a sort of offline patch or what to call this thing, unsure how usable it is as always but the files are available at least.

EDIT:

EDIT: DLC usage instructions and customization (Which I totally missed minus gray robe coloring.)
http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1730471

EDIT: Redists did not download, patch is 500 MB, aww.

XNA Framework 3.1 installed?
(4.0 won't work as it's separate.)

EDIT: 45 minutes left regarding the upload of the patched data.

Had the same problem. Right click, run as administrator and it started fine for me after that

Well now that you mention it all the files for audio was replaced in the patch but it's currently uploading that archive so I haven't tested yet, might have fixed it then.

EDIT: Though I kinda liked the Swedish mixed with English (Or so it sounded at least.) silly lines used as well. Very Happy
(Intro scene for that book and Vlad are voiced somewhat correctly though but the rest just goof speak or what to call it, Sim-Speak?.)

Why is it odd? It's not a serious game. It's a satire on high fantasy.

I quite like the random speech of every NPC. Some are a mix of Swedish/English and some are just complete gibberish Laughing

Could be then, "Swedish" as such has borrowed a lot of words from past centuries great nations, France then Germany and Great Britain and now USA. Smile
(Plus many foreign smaller countries so it's a pretty mixed up language compared to ancient Nordic as far as I've understood it, that's more similar to Finnish or some such from what I've read, it's also been very simplified in terms of spelling and wording, grammatical rules and such over the years, in a way similar to the separation between UK english and US english somewhat.)

EDIT: Was answered.
(Could have went for Latin though for a real g(r)eeky way of speaking, haha.)

EDIT: But we invented "Fuck" first or so I'm told, Jukk or Jukka (Or maybe fukka) as it was known (Still used as slang.) for hip movement back and forth as a sexually loaded or suggestive gesture or some such meaning.
(Or maybe it was Norwegian or Dane, especially Danish what with B0g/balle and all those wordings they use for other stuff than what we mean with them.)

EDIT: Patched files will be up in 20 minutes, I suppose the old (cracked) exe might work with all other files being updated but that's just a guess.

It should work as everything that's game related remains untouched even after copying the crack, because that's just those files to bypass the steamworks (I think). Is it just me or the game is running very bad? I get 15 fps at best if the game is maxed out, 20 if i turn the shadows to low. It's not like the game is very good hardware-demanding and I don't have the worst pc neither.
