Nothing is impossible, but it's very unlikely I think.

It happened with BioShock 2, Razor1911 used the launcher of some other game to make it work before the release date. However their release was later nuked because Reloaded released the cracked retail launcher while explaining in their nfo how what Razor1911 did was against the rules etc.

So even if a scener COULD do something like that, I'm not sure they WOULD do it if their release would later get nuked.

Going by recent trends, I don't think groups are too concerned with their releases being nuked Razz.

Being first/one of the first seems to be their main priority, seconded by talking shit about other groups. THEN quality.

Theta seems to be fairly consistent and good, at least in my personal experience. Groups like Skidrow, Reloaded, etc, though...I typically start checking for nukes and propers before their downloads are finished.

As far as I can tell, the game is a rip. You move the unpacked files to where you want the gane install to be and run the .bat file of your region. That's how I've done it anyway.

Correct, all it does is copy some files from the _install folder and processing the setup file information for registry and redistributable setups.
(Where the original setup and autorun resides.)

Steam version preload is 9GB and missing some of the archives in this release, likely the language specifics (Cutscenes, pre-recorded movie files, though those are separate anyhow and voice audio in seven languages would take a bit of space.)

I just deleted the first game the 6th or 7th time I think. Getting past the fact that it bored me to death the first and second time I tried it, I still wanted to give it another chance so many times, but the damn game kept screwing with my video driver every 1 minute or so, giving it freezes that lead to crashes eventually. A lot of people had problems with the game, but no the damn devs didn't release at least a patch which was vitaly needed. I think I'm not even going to leech the second game.

Atleast try it Wink strangely I didnt encounter any problems with the first one whatsoever Wink the only thing that kept me of was the controls, couldnt get used to them, but as people are talking DS2 has fixed that issue Smile

I don't think so. Why? Because the game should run fine on 5 years old consoles too.

Probably I would have done the same, I just wanted to see what the hell is so cooooool about it. The longest playthrough of this game for me was until chapter 2, about 1 hour of the game Laughing.
