I am guessing as this is a sequal, i'd be map to skip the second half of dead space and move on to 2?

DS1 was such a great game, you should really finish it. DS2 is a direct sequel, yes. You play as the same Protagonist as the first one.

Another good question. No one here has the game yet - I suspect someone like Sabin will be the first to try it (when he wakes up). Or you could grab it yourself and let us know? I won't be playing this for a few weeks regardless!

Is that confirmed?

Also, what if i've got a shit old firmware? can I still play it? i've never had to patch any wave patches or anything, it's always played whatever I throw at it (was hacked maybe 3 years ago now?)
