First, because I have to and I just can't resist: lol XP ^_^

Ayway, try this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=c680a7b6-e8fa-45c4-a171-1b389cfacdad

If that doesn't work, you're fucked. It's one of the oldest bugs in Windows XP (hence my 'lol XP', it really is an aweful OS), and there is no way to fix it if the above can't fix it. Just wait until you get Autoplay but it's all empty, fantastic little bug Razz

Win7 will be fine mate. My now 6-year old (and no longer in-use due to a broken screen Sad) laptop runs better with Windows 7 than it does with Windows XP (just as snappy, but lasts longer on the battery) Smile

Do the opposite of this :

That's what you get for installing a custom OS.

Just tried that, works kind of fine. Now all thumbdrives starts as wanted but USB external HDD and camera still dont.

But since i mostly need that feature for flash drives, i guess problem solve.

Thanks
