Bloodline Champions is a PVP game with short, intense matches for up to ten players divided into two teams. Every player plays one of several different bloodlines with 7 unique abilities each.
Different bloodlines in a set up complement eachother, different maps and gamemodes need different tactics, so good teamwork is a must for success.
Chance is not a factor, spells and abilities do a set amount of damage. Random elements such as critical hits and passive abilities do not exist.
Spells travel to where the player aims and can be avoided by enemy players, making every ability dependant on individual player skill.
Without mana and creeps, the game has almost zero downtime and is instead based on short cooldowns, this coupled with no grind or farming ensures that every match is full of action.

Basically it's DotA but much more simplified and basically skill shot based.(no crits, no mana - only cooldowns) I enjoy it cause the rounds last up to 5 min max.  My ingame username is: spellwalker. You can add me if you want, though I still suck at this game.(Just got into the beta + too much lag ^_^)

Uhh, is this the same game as the one from Funcom? I got this invite thing in my e-mail, for this game, but it's from a different developer/publisher?

wow. It's like they've tried to make some kind of DOTA clone hybrid thing except instead of making it fun, they decided to go with the "sticking your hand in a horse's ass" style of game play. Just play HoN or LoL and forget this is even being made.

I didn't play it yet but isn't this nothing like HoN, Dota or LoL? I thought it was like wow arenas... and the game also seems to be quite popular.

And how exactly is this a Dota clone? No base, no creeps, no levels, no random factor involved (crits, dodge, etc), no items, no gold. Only similarity is that you control one hero. Yeah, its definitely a clone. 
Now Hon (1:1 carbon copy), or LoL (same with other layer of levelups) on the other hand...

Yeah it's worth checking out. It's pretty much a DoTA without farming/items and you control it with WASD.
Not much in terms of tactics/hero picking but it's completely skillshot based.

I tried it out and, to be honest, I didn't care much for it. Even though the maps are limited, I have a lot more fun with League of Legends. I think I may have an extra beta key if anyone wants. First one to PM me will get it, as I probably won't be checking this thread too often.
