There are 4 classes which have there own class specific primaries.
Assault: assault rifles (duh)
Medic: LMGs
Engineer: SMGs
Recon: Sniper rifles.
Each class has there own role. (assault = resupply, medic = revive/heal, engie = repair and destroy vehicles, recon = use motion mines to spot people)
You can change your primaries and secondaries. There are also non class specific weapons:
Shotguns, the m14, the garand, the g3, and the m1a1
There are 5 pistols to choose from: M9, grach, m1911, rex, and m93r
Also you can pick 3 perks.
Perk 1 consists of sites, extra ammo, extra explosive, and such
Perk 2 consists of magnum ammo, body armor, extra explosive damage, etc
Perk 3 consists of perks for vehicles like alt fire or smoke.

Thats the fucked up thing, they force you to download it even if you wont play it. Now you need to buy it and then it will be unlock.
Got the game and now i remembered why i stoped playing BC2. Eveyone is a fuckin sniping faggot.

A friend of mine gave me his game since he wasnt playing anymore. But yeah its totally retarded to force every single BC2 owner to download the 1.8gb update for Vietnam even if they dont intend to play it.
I think the only people who won't play it can't get online, and the people who buy it now or have checked it out recently have been waiting for this add on, it does seem retarded to force download, but I can see the method behing the madness.
Anyway, Vietnam is bloody great, I still have it on the PC, but this version is 10X better.
Havent played much mp lately. Halo Reach didn´t get to me, neither did cod:bops. But this game has me hooked. Every game is different, with crazy stuff going on.
Barely have any friends playing this, which I find very odd considering this is a way better game then above mentioned (imho).
Engineer seems to be the easiest class to play as a noob.

BC2 is on a complete downfall, theres more people playing CoD 4 than this. I guess EA/DiCE did something really wrong making people go away.
As myself and my friends, we stoped playing it cause they didnt put class restriction allowing every fuckin retard to be a sniper leaving 3 of us on the frontline trying to get objectives, trying to shoot down choppers, destroying Tanks. Not to mention those asshole snipers who grab vehicules alone to get to their camping spot leaving us on foot every fuckin time when we spawn.

Of all games I have played now for a couple of days I have never experienced any sniper problems. Sure get shot now and then, but nothing close to the unusual agrevation. Maybe they all went away?
And another thing that is awesome about this game, I don´t have problems joining a game. Within seconds I join and there is no lag. Perfect.
Havent had this much fun in mp since mohaa (except gears maybe when that was new).
Rush is a fucking blast.
I can seriously not understand how anyone can pick cod before this? Awesome big goodlooking maps, great gameplay, nice sound, adictive point system, fluid mp-experience, no overprized map-packs, exciting game modes, bla bla bla...
Maybe they could make the snipers crosshair " sway " after a while of being in zoom but make it a little stronger, might deter people from sniping, gotta admit, did get pissed off on one session where a lot of people were sniping and was getting shot a lot more by snipers. Apart from that they aint to much trouble.

Soon with one more map in ´nam. Heard 360 hit halfway mark yesterday (39 462 083 team actions so far). Pc users already unlocked theirs.
