"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Even though many people praise the picture quality of the HD DVD/Blu-Ray version
of "Batman Begins", we weren't that impressed. We thought it was too clean and
blurry at times. We decided to encode a version of it we like. This means that we
added movie grain and used a tiny bit of edge enhancement. x264 needs a high
bitrate to retain movie grain, which is the reason why this encode is quite bigger
than the source.
If you like an ultra clean picture, go for one of the "normal" releases of "Batman
Begins", but if you prefer movie grain and a sharp picture, than this is the
version for you.
Enjoy!
Seriously, the encoder of EUREKA is so dumb; really really dumb; for real`z! They are the joke of p2p HD groups.
Sound was fine for me, just got through watching it.

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?
Saner is not being serious. Unless its the subject of Santa!
Christopher Nolan has confirmed that he's working in a video game set in the world of his brilliant Leonardo DiCaprio movie, Inception.
Nolan had already revealed to CVG earlier this year that he was "looking at" doing a video game tie-in, but now it looks like it's definitely happening.
"I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place," he told Inside Movies.
"At the moment, the only direction we're channeling that is by developing a videogame set in the world," he added, saying that it was a "a longer-term proposition" with a team of collaborators.
No developer or any further details were revealed.
A sequel movie, on the other hand, seems unlikely. "As for [movie] sequels," he added, "it's not something I want to say no to, but it's not something I've given a lot of thought about."
I thought it was deliberate. They are using slowed down version of Piaf's song, to show that somebody is in a dream thus perceive the slowed down time.
Watching one of the three files now. The Extraction Mode one has a 10-15 minute long clip on the rotating hallway fight scene, which was nice. Also some footage from the zero gravity hallway scene.
Pretty good documentary. I like that he really tries to minimize the computer special effects, and do as much as possible "on camera" as he says. Really impressed and surprised that the train wasn't CG. We need more filmmakers like Nolan, and less like Cameron who creates his whole movie in a basement on a computer.

Perhaps a stupid question, but I still can't figure it out after watching the movie several times:
Spoiler:
When they are on the airplane, they are heavily sedated, so that they would drop into Limbo, would they die in the dream, because their body was not "ready" to take back their mind yet.
But then they get attacked, and instead of spending like 1 week in the first dream (the van), they have about 1 hour or so. They drive the van into the river, thus getting everyone out of dreams 2 and 3 back into dream 1.
BUT to get out of dream 1, wouldn't they need a kick in real live, in the airplane? How could they wake up early, if no one on the plane knew they had to wake up at that point?
OR did they just wake up "in time" like it was planned? But where did they spend the rest of the time then? That is not really shown...
“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.”
- Albert Camus
well my understanding was that the drug they were using to put themselves asleep was so powerful there was no way any kicker could bring them out, and they would have to let the drug run its course... basically it was all pre-planned, and the drug would wake them all up with plenty of time to spare before the plane landed. so yeah.. my understanding was that they all just kicked back in the first layer, and waited till the time ran down and they woke up normally.
could be wrong though, ive still only seen it once.
and do i really need to spoiler this? movies been out long enough me-thinks.
Actually, if I recall correctly, driving the van into the river was needed to get them out of that dream (the one with the van). Every other deeper layer had it's own kicker: the elevator, jumping from the window, collapsing the building, etc...
But they had to happen at the same time, or in a correct sequence, my memory is a little fuzzy on this one. I think they just needed to get out of the deeper dreams before the outer kicker went off
the van hitting didnt wake them up, only brought them into the van layer... the kicker 'wakes' them to whatever layer it happens on... atleast thats how i understood it.
Then why did Ellen Page's character jump out the window in the final sequence? Or did she kill herself and then woke up?
Can't really remember it well now. I was intending to rewatch it at some point.
