I played a round of TDM on Modern Warfare 2 after months of not even thinking about re-installing and you know what? It was fun.

Awesome performance too.

But that doesnt help because;

I am talking from my perspective. In my case the game runs perfect, so I want the fixes i listed. I cannot demand a patch for something that is not broken in my case.
And the things i listed, are not the only things that were changed (read full patch notes, a lot of fixes). So on consoles, they have time to FIX what is broken and add/change features. While PC hasnt seen a patch in a month. Of course they did fuck up the ps3 version.

Never had truly bad stuttering myself, but I did have some stuttering at the beginning of a game. That seems to be gone with the update, but it never was so consistent that I can say for sure.

And yeah, spawn system improvements is a much welcome addition, though I haven't played enough to say if it's better or not.

hmm been doing that anyway, it was just the odd hitching but I have a feeling that might of been more a server issue as if i would use other servers it wouldnt be near as bad.. duno it was an odd thing with black ops..

Oh well ill remove config and try can but hope.. Ill take a peak on that dreadful steam forum before hand as well to see what whining is there Very Happy

Oh lots of moaning it made it worse on those forums LOL, ill have to try it in a moment then.. it was working fine for most part before patch I hope it has not gone backwards for me now Very Happy

A good way to see if they are bothered with the patch is to check if they put it into threaded mode yes and removed the std dual gpu selection in cfg lol. I mean if anything those simple changes should be done immediate.. How dare they sudgest people have dual cards as std and no threaded cpu's..

Disgusted by patch again really its runnning yes but do s shift tilde when u get in a map again and check out the loading errors and cant find file issues.. there are 73 entity errors alone not being loaded on the radar map.. plus other textures, "failed to load reflex sight bone tag" blah blah? what bone tag i have no tags on anything.. must be some decal on the site as std..

then there is one saying something about using a zombie flash texture error.. ugh why cant they just open the loading file and see where the issues are then fix them.. no idea what they been doing really.. the menu area is the part they worked on most as i see no loading mistakes there anymore..

This doesn't mean much, HL2 and episodes have many loading errors too.

If it works fine though yes I can see your point, but I was more thinking along the lines of those that still dont have it working fine..

p.s crap code can have loop issues if said multitude of checks for texture loadings and other loading errors happen.. this can cause bad stability and hitching in game play..

Actually, that's not a programmer error, that's a fuckup by the map creator. He's trying to include textures that don't exist, so obviously that results in an error when trying to load them Wink

yeah there are alot more though other than texture errors there are files pertaining to english UI cfgs etc as well.. Just saying here that alot has been overlooked since the port Very Happy but hey i guess that is expected lol..
