I have found a genuine Windows 7 upgrade cheap but I was just wondering about if it will work? My Windows XP key is genuine but its one thats used on loads of different machines, Will I still be able to upgrade to Windows7 using this version of XP ? You can just clean install windows 7 without a key with your disk. And then upgrade your windows 7 install with your upgrade key. Neat little trick that still works. More information: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html
