turn the shadows off, they are a big performance hit and look crap anyway,you can force this by editing your StolenRetail.ini ,set Shadows State to "off".
game is not bad so far ,i like it.

With a system like that he shouldnt have to, should he!? I have a 6800GT also so Im gonna grab this one but I was kinda hoping for the Xbox release first :/

a64 3200+, 1 gig ram, x800 pro, i get like ~30-40fps (vsync off)

- very choppy even in the high-end systems
- intor movie can't be skipped so you should watch it whenever start the game
patch needed badly but I highly doubt any kind of patches come out since developer closed the business.

just edit the "StolenRetail.ini" änd edit this settings from:
<Lighting Level="3" /> to <Lighting Level="1" />
and
<Shadows State="on" /> to <Shadows State="off" />
so i have 10fps more;)

With no lighting and no shadows this game looks like crap. After all, Stealth games are paired with good lighting and shadows aka Thief 3.crappy port tbh.

They dont claim it has Starforce as the game doesnt.
Retail Version in .de is unprotected.
Retail Version in .uk is unprotected.
Retail Version in .it is unprotected.
so they either didnt add it nor hip decided rpd would crak it anyway.
stop the hdlm bullshit ... its not needed at this forum ... better get ur hdlm suppliers pick games like rld seems to force them.

It doesn't help at all.
It's not a graphical problem, even menus are VERY slow.

Well, I runned to the gamestore, cause it is out here and tried the official game vs RELOADEDs release.
The game here is unprotected too btw.
The official game runs exactly the same as RELOADEDs release, it is playable here, oke, Doom 3 runs smoother then this game, but it is working without any lag etc. But there are really no probs with RELOADEDs release, they both run the same
Im going to return this one to the store, cause it runs me too bad, some optimizing should be highly recommended
