To be honest, climate change is not a hoax, but the fact that its caused by humanity is Laughing. I know you'll never respect my thought process here, but I can simply not comprehend we can be held accountable for this change in climate when a vulcanic outburst bursts out more CO2 then we have ever done in our short existance. This very thought process is arrogant and delusional in my honest opinion. Then again, we did build a billion dollar industry around it where now thousands of people depend upon. Revealing it as a hoax would not exactly help in these hard economic times, not that people would actually listen anyway, the media cant be wrong can they? I mean scientist cant be forced/bribed to put their signature under a fraudulent research project.

That is an utterly retarded statement. Nuclear bombs don't really produce any greenhouse gases. Most liquid propellants usen in space shuttle launches don't produce greenhouse gases either. I guess some water is produced but still c'mon. Even if signifant amounts of greenhouse gases were produced during space shuttle launches the amount of launches is still so small that the amounts released would still be ridiculously small, relatively speakin.

What is your source? Volcanos do not produce more CO2 than humanity. The US alone dwarfs the CO2 production by volcanos with billions of tonnes. Volcanos also release ash and other small particles which block sunlight and so warming. The CO2 production is partially compensated in a way.

There are 6+ billion humans on this world, a huge industry to sustain such a population is neeeded. Even if our existence is a relatively short one, we pollute on a massive scale.

Yeah I'd like to know your source Smile

Whenever that Icelandic volcano Eyafyallayokul (or whatever the hell it's called) will start burping again I want to know how many greenhouse gases it's emitting Smile

the volcano argument is heavily skewed. Would you condone killing of people by governments or big corporations, because natural disasters may do the same?

also, with a certain probability of volcano-eruptions shouldnt people be concerned to not add more themselves?

A clear case of "when someone jumps into the ditch you follow!" Which is what the Dutch say when you do something merely because someone else is doing it too.

I think most people using the volcano argument wouldn't really like to change their way of life anyway.

The 6 billion will be a thing of the past soon. Asia and Africa will explode demographically... 9 billion people or so in a couple of years, I don't think it's impossible Sad

Have you seen that short movie by Richard Curtis (Love Actually) called No Pressure? It was about the 10:10 climate programma, and what to do with "those selfish *****s"

Blowing them up of course! Very Happy

Not really, no. The UN’s own figures clearly indicate that population is set to stabilize in 2020 and then drop dramatically after 2050, or in other words, the world’s fertility rate will fall below the global replacement rate sometime between 2020 and 2050.

Indeed, the population will stabilize. With increasing wealth and welfare, teh birthrate drops dramatically. This trend is a sustained effect over history. There will come a day when we'll rue the years we were so pissed about the population growth since the overal population will get older. We can already see this in the more develop countries. The retired/working ratio gets skewed towards one side, the younger population is under the strain of an increasingly growing older population.
A high birthrate is not the problem, the prolongation of the human lifespan is. I know it's morbid.
