My X50v get's hot as hell (700mhz). But the main cause for aluminium cases is the protection.

you mean insulate then  i thought u did and steve you seen how big that extra battery charger thing is? it's like carrying a brick around. good for car journeys but u certainly cant put it in your pocket.

Knowing that you had to buy an extra case because of bad product design - Time to declare Chapter 13.
