I think the patched archive file might work as is without further changes but the exe related changes will require a loader or a new crack so it can be used.
Kane & Lynch and Kain & Raziel buddy up in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light DLC
Ever wondered what playing through Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light would be like if Lara was Adam 'Kane' Marcus and Totec was James Seth Lynch, eponymous characters of the Kane & Lynch series? According to a hack of the PC version that popped up on YouTube – along with a helpful confirmation straight from developer Crystal Dynamics' Twitter account – soon enough you'll be able to experience such bizarreness firsthand as both characters will be available for download at some point in the future (remember: before the end of 2010).
Also revealed was that other Kane from CrystalD's past: Kain and Raziel (of Legacy of Kain series fame) will be the second character pack. Names are also put to the second and third content expansions: "Things That Go Boom" (number two) and "Hazardous Reunion" (number three). The YouTube clip after the break shows a bit of our old friends Kain and Raziel in action ... for the first time in seven years. Quick, someone explain YouTube to them!
Yeah it's challenge pack 2, challenge pack 1 being that X360 DLC I uploaded earlier but it's not compatible with the PC edition/file format or some such, it's uploading (Just finished the Deathspank data upload which also added some content.)
Only consists of a single file so should be compatible with alternate editions of the game, includes NCF data as well for those using Steam emulation programs or such utilities.
Yeah it works with the exe from latest THETA release.
Run steam and install the Demo ( steam://install/35150 ), launch it and make sure demo is working fine.
Get the cracked lcgol.exe from this release : Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light V1.02 - THETA
rename it to lcgol_demo.exe and put it in game folder, also make a copy of steam_api.dll and rename it to smoke_api.dll.
Launch the demo through steam and now you have the full game with working co-op.
tell your friend to do the same thing.
Only with THETA? Can I try with the latest Skidrow release? Or does not work the same way?

Semi-noobish question but... better safe than sorry. If I use a skidrow savegame on a steam bought version of the game, will I get in trouble? Does it even work?
