hello again;)
since december going to be crapy but i mean realy crapy month with very few releases, i decided to combine two subjects in one thread:december 2010 pc games list and what is the game of the year 2010 for you.
here is the list of what should be out this dec and unless a miracle will happends and a good game will be out..we all screwed:D

and the little list for dec 2010, contain:
1.Tron Evolution - 3rd person action - 7 dec
2.World of Warcraft: Cataclysm - MMORPG -7 dec
3.John Daly's ProStroke Golf - sport - 7 dec
4.Bejeweled 3 - puzzle - 7 dec
and now for something completely different: game of the year 2010:
so for this dec i maybe will play that tron game if it will be out and if it will be ok but as for the game of the year 2010, there were few nice games this year , but after i gave it some deep thought, my king for this year with no doubt is just cause 2...freedom , planty of vehicles, fun missions, good graphic and you can land crafts and take off...was the best expirience imo this year.

Well the problem is that I played Batman just this year and I think that this is my game of the year 
On the other hand fifa 11 is pretty amazing:)

Fallout New Vegas
Easy choice...wow looking at my "games I've finished list" (yeah I keep one), there really haven't been that many good games.
Other than that I truly enjoyed (in that order):
Divinity 2: FOV
Mass Effect 2
STALKER: COP
Dragon Age: Awakening
And Alan Wake, Alpha Protocol, Singularity, Enslaved deserve a mention.
But 2010 i hardly over for me, I still have at least 15 larger titles from 2010 I need to finish.

Fallout: New Vegas - GOTY for me.
Other games I genuinely liked this year are Civilization 5, Stalker: COP and ME2.
Anything other in between was nothing special or complete garbage.

Fallout: New Vegas is my GOTY.
Honorable mentions for ME2, that could've been GOTY if only it hadn't ditched most of it's RPG elements from the first and for STALKER: Call of Pripyat, that also could've had a chance if it didn't end with a whimper (Pripyat was really lame  ).

Mass Effect 2
Dragon Age: Awakening
Alpha Protocol
Fallout: New Vegas
Stalker: Call of Pripyat
Assassin Creed 2
Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse
Starcraft II
Civilization V
I wouldn't nominate any specific.

I played New Vegas way too hard and wound up beating the everlasting shit out of it.. I'm waiting for GoW3 / Batman at this point.. Not sure what else yet. Maybe Starcraft whenever they manage to push that out.

Quite sad, but for me the GOTY would be one of the smaller titles that entertained me a lot. Lara Croft and Shank come to mind, shame about the co-op failure with these titles.
FO: NV is one of the better titles I've played besides the smaller titles this year, and while it is actually a good game unlike FO3, I still can't get my head around Gamebryo, VATS and the crappy (read limited/bland) item choice. Had it not been called Fallout I probably would've approached it differently, but I really can't see NV (let alone FO3) as true successors to FO1/2
Dragon Age was also good, although I think I need to revisit it with all the DLC and whatnot 
I haven't actually found time to give Divinity 2 a try yet, so maybe that'll be a good one for me. AP and ME2 fall in the "nice try, but no." category. ME2 just didn't grab me, and AP could've been fantastic if it wasn't for the countless bugs, screwed up AI and badly implemented RPG elements. Singularity was far too bland, it tried to mix a lot of good games but didn't get it right for me; just lacked atmosphere.
I think I'm just too critical of games these days, or maybe I'm just bored of seeing ported games on an old build of UE3, making them look very dated. Or games that have bugs all over the place, or games that have 2 hours of actual gameplay filled with 9 hours of cutscenes, or..Sad thing is, at least one of the 3 things I just mentioned applies to any of the titles above :/
Edit: thinking about it, choosing a GOTY is easier than a DOTY (Disappointment of the year), because OH LORD did we get many of those

My best game of the year is probably Fallout: New Vegas, followed by (in order):
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Divinity 2: DKS
Alpha Protocol
Mass Effect 2

Just Cause 2 (best action game of the year together with EFLC)
Grand Theft Auto IV: Episodes From Liberty City (see above)

NBA 2K11

hard to choose the best one out of these, my mind says Starcraft II but my heart says 2k11. There's also ME2 and RDR, and AC2, it's just to much.

While this is just the view of each and everyone, if you look at the bigger picture, nominating Civ 5 as the strategy game of the year, is an absolute abomination.
I'm no big fps gamer, but my vote goes to Bad Company 2.
Biggest disappointment, at least multiplayer wise must be civ5(almost unplayable) and AvP.
Because of bnet and no lan multiplayer I wouldn't recommend starcraft 2, its a step backwards for sure. I enjoyed football manager 11, but it has little changes compared to 10 so *shrug*
I'm no console player either, but red dead redemption was one fiiiiine game.
Haven't really played many new games this year, I tend to like older games, and the quality nowadays is poor overall.
