One of the worst referee'd games Ive seen in a while. Poor holland. I have no real team to cheer for.. but that was ridiculous.

He looks a very sleazy referee with his shirt open like that, but it wasn't a bad game for him I don't think (some strict yellow cards for the portugese though, Figo and C. Ronaldo were not given any slack at all!) didn't notice anything against the Dutch in particular anyway?
I don't think the Greeks will beat the Czech Republic either, but whoever goes through it promises to be a good final thanks to the hosts already being there

I found there were a lot of marginal calls going for both sides. It didn't interrupt the tempo really too much, which was good for both teams, but I did see a lot of cards that were unnecessary as you said. I didn't meant to put that poor holland right after that, my thoughts got mixed up. I meant that I felt bad that holland lost as one point and the other point that I found the game was referee'd poorly. Sorry

What planet is Advocaat living on?
He got his tactics completely wrong in the first half. Portuguese teams usually play 3 attacking midfielders supporting one striker but Holland did absolutely nothing to stop Figo, Deco and Ronaldo and they got punished for it.
Anyway, Holland were pretty poor throughout the whole tournament and wouldn't have deserved to get into the final.
Hopefully the Czechs will go through to the final because Czech vs Portugal would be a very tasty final indeed.
BTW, It was nice to see Figo regain some form. If that shot off the post had went in it would have been a peach. Maniche's goal wasn't bad either!

I heard that Kluivert said he cant play with Van Nistelrooy beside him, thats why Maakay is getting his chances. Advocaat sucks imho, yesterday he kept his tactics and had one striker going up against Andrade, Carvalho, Valente, took him 20 mins before the end to do something about it...sad.

not deserved, because czech had many oppotunities 2 score, but failed to do so.
hmm, i think portugal will be the EC winner. But damn, i fucking hate portugal's coach :@

I cant believe that win. That was outrageous. Dieing seconds, even if it was a nice goal, that shouldnt be the way to end an otherwise good match.

I'm very pissed because I put money on the Greeks to either draw 1-1 at 90 minutes, or win (whatever the scoreline) at 90 minutes.
To see it happen in the closing moments of the game I just have to scowl and say - no you didn't desrve it!
Cruel blow for the Czech Republic as they played so well to get that far and then have it snatched by a team which was never expecting to go through the group stages let alone the final.
Obviously the defensive game the Greeks play must be working, but they didn't completely close down the attacking game so it was still exciting all in all.
I hope Portugal win but many will draw conclusions (either way) from the first game the two played of the tournament, it will have to them wider implications than it truely does I feel

We dont play fantasy football as many people want to see,we dont have zidan,netved,raul,vannistelroy......but we have 11 players with 6-7/10 rate and all of them are running at all 90 mins.
We saw what did real with all stars this year.Nothing............
As for yesterday chech had 4-5 top class players but tho other 5-6??????

msnes, As you know the first win against Portugal was a fluke and by far they have been lucky all tournament.
But as for tommorow Greece will not prevale because it will be a differant
Portugal the their first meeting.
My prediction is;

What a team Greece are. They thoroughly deserved to win the tournament.
In my view they were the best TEAM by far.
Well done Greece.
also, well done referee for being even handed & playing game to rules not reputation.
