Whooaa knew I would provoke reaction but tis cool.. re: MMORPGs and Social Life. All good if you can manage it of course, its your scene. Just be weary like anything it can get out of control. Delegate and compromise on your time between it and life. Hell, I mod a lot in a certain PC game so its an addiction towards developing stuff which I never really play -- my reward is seeing other enjoy it for me -- thats become my deal.

I lost myself much much more in counterstrike than I ever have in wow, thats for sure.

No no, its the streaming like i said. I didnt fully wait for the client to finish "applying non-critical updates" so it was streaming content at around 32kb/s, while i got a 50mbit connection Neutral

And i got the HD4890 vapor-x as temp card atm, other is getting changed for a new one.

Yea but at the end of that update it extracts data/cache files of around 6gb, these where extracting at that point and thus caused these errors >.<

PostPosted: Fri, 26th Nov 2010 10:50    Post subject: Why im dead all the time im in level 20:
And i dont have any speical weapons just a big one sword some shileds.
I have a lot of money im a warrior.

I have yellow quests now i have a quest to bring some stuff out of 10 from this small creatures in some area i flied to...
The thing is i went to my trainer in my big city where i started to play first time and i couldnt train more then one or two things. then in my magics i had 3-4 things to make.
On the bar where i have magics and stuff i have few things.

But if i fight more then one-two creatures togeather i die very fast.
Is that how it should be to die so much? I mean what else can i do?
Im on level 20 for long time now and not get any progress and my quest log is full but i cant finish simple quests.

Do i need to get somehow better weapons or magics? How come ppl here get to level 30-70 so fast? And im playing for few years now.

Ill show some screen shots of my game soon the new patch will finish download.

Thanks.

one thing i don't like is that the monthly fee is more expensive then the game it self... i just bought WOW classic for now (30days free).. after this i will see if I will update and pay or get back to private server...
12.99€/ monthly is too much for a game..

private servers? you dont get it eh? its a mmorpg why do you play it on servers with around 50 people.
me and alot of people (like millions) dont think its too much to pay 13 euros a month for a good game.
normaly i buy every 6-7 months a game and then only from cd key sites.
for example fifa 11 ... bought it last month for 15 euros.
wow was 2 euros cheaper and i played much more wow then fifa. so how can it be too much?
sure its too much if you play just 2-3 hours a month, but not when you play 2-3 hours a day.

hope you understand my poor english Very Happy

for your info... now population of single realm on private server is 2500 - 3000 people online (during day also depends on HW and bandwidth)

and your right.. if i don't pay wow for 2 months i get new game...

*edit*

but still it will take 1/2 year to get Cata patch runnung.. Sad

well its not years behind... the reflection isnt the main thing that makes it pretty you know Very Happy I dont think that technology was in morowind (ripples'n'shit 3.0) Razz

But in all honesty I love the new water, its not a technology miracle but its pretty especially when swim in it, the waves ripple, crossover, distort sunrays blah blah blah Very Happy its gooooood Razz

Water is kind of ok. What i dislike about it is the slime like effect when you run in it or on it.

I like the new troll starting zone, very nicely done but honestly don't feel very excited. I had hopes the new zone changes would refresh my interest in WoW, bringing back some of the feeling I had when I leveled my first character in WoW.

Sadly that hasn't come yet but I've only done the very first starter area so it might change, I'll keep playing until the free days run out and we'll see. Smile I also need to try out the new dungeon finder tool (yeah I know it's kind of old now for you guys but I haven't tried it since I haven't played for a long time) so that's one excuse to level a few more levels at least. Currently going a troll mage on Ragnaros, it's the only class I haven't played very much and coincidentally I hear it's also pretty fun.

wait till you get to barrens, thousand needles (!!!) or stranglethorn

/edit
oh and ashenvale of course.
