Firmware stays the same even if you change your HDD.

I have the same question, I want to buy one new but is anywhere still selling 3.41?Any certain packs that are guaranteed 3.41 or below?

Hmm, think im gonna update soon to3.5. If cant go back then its a shame. Looks to me the Downgrade works. If i have to buy Original Psjailbreak, then will buy it if needed. At the time no need to be at 3.41 because nothing special available to me.
I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?

I've been thinking of biting the bullet and just updating to 3.50 too. TBH it sucks trying to keep up with the latest method of JB, different payloads and loaders.
How does it work with the things on the hard drive ??
eg can you
A) Have a 3.41 jailbroken PS3 .. with things on the HDD (games etc)
B) Upgrade to 3.50 .. be able to play new games/online etc
C) Then downgrade it back to 3.41 later with the stuff still on the HDD etc??

After downgrade the console will be in factory settings.....so all info will be deleted.

I have a second HDD that i use for original games and online, and the other for JB so i don't lose any data.
Havn't actually swapped back to the jb yet as i upgraded to 3.50 so i'm not sure if it will work, but i see no reason why it wouldn't!
But thinking about it, i would need a third drive to downgrade with Mmm..
strange he didnt he start a 3.50 req game like GT5 from disk on the video. I wouldve done that to legitimatize my claim. But he did sign onto PSN on the other hand.
EDIT: Is there a way to sign onto psn with a 3.41 console at this point?

How exactly do you get to play gt5 ? Do you mean we can now update to 3.50 to play gt5 and then downgrade whenever you want to play backups ? Or am i missing something ?

I think he meant soon we will be able to. If that news that hit today about 3.50 running jailbreak is true , its only a matter of time before we have a 3.50 friendly payload. I wouldn't do any updating just yet though.
it seems that 3.50 jb is the real deal, several trustworthy people including one of the psx-scene admins confirmed it. well thats one big punch in sonys face and they deserve it can´t wait to play gt5 finally
also some guy from germany managed to decrypt *.selfs and *.sprx files the *.exes and *.dlls of ps3. with this the ps3scene is finally growing stronger
