Splinter.Cell.Chaos.Theory.XBOX-Allstars

OK. NOW. Is there a difference between these? Please, post if you know or at least have som clue.
The only difference I've heard this far is that Allstar is PAL and USA is NTSC. Which doesn't even matter with a chipped XBOX + TV that handles PAL & NTSC.. (which mine fortunately does!!!)
+ The fact that Allstars is watermarked (not visually watermarked, but an identifier in the .xbe or some such sh....)
That is, that Allstars is not Retail but USA's is.....or something?
Does anyone know anything else?

well, as of now, it seems as if the Splinter_Cell_Chaos_Theory_USA_XBOXDVD9-USA .. release.. well, that it haven't been released yet/ or that it won't be released... no site has listed it as far as I can see... (nforce, console-news)....

both the same all splinter cell games have been multi as in they work perfect on either pal/ntsc console

Both are final retail versions with signed xbes and the same languages. Imo this means the USA release is a dupe.

As far as I understand the Allstar version is 100% fully working, however, it's some kind of a promo version or something, which does not make it less full or something, but sure makes the USA release a legitimate one and not a dupe.
Now, if you guys ask me, it doesn't matter which ver you have, just go play the game - this one is a true piece of quality gaming.

Why? It may have been on a promo disc but nevertheless the files are the final retail version.

i have the all star version, and it works fine on my PAL xbox, and there has been no issues with the game

OK now I think I'm flippin out. There are 2 new weapons/attachment, right?
The Combat Knife + Shotgun?
I'm thinking, maybe the USA DVD5 wasn't a full one after all, or something? I don't know.
I dont got the combat knife, I haven't seen the shotgun (i'm 6-7 levels into the game now...)
I've also noticed some major graphical bugs (Really ugly shadows with big pixelated shapes and a weird glow around SAM in combo with that shadow. fucked up.)

the combat knife you have on you from start. when using right trigger youll kill enemies with it. or when you hold them kill them with it with same trigger. if you put the camera on yourself while holding enemy you should be able to see sam holding a knife against their throats.
you get shotgun on stage 5 or 6 or something if you choose reddings or assault. read at missionstart. you have to have your weapon out and then press white button and the attachment get placed on it, or whatever hes doing. sniper weapon works the same: pull out weapon and press white.

As Splinter.Cell.Chaos.Theory.XBOX- Allstars has been unnuked (Nforce has not unnuked it yet for a strange reason), posting Splinter_Cell_Chaos_Theory_USA_ XBOXDVD9-USA would be useless.
Unless it is just for the pleasure of having a true NTSC release.
