Well.. no-one seems to be able to crack it ( or not interested in cracking in), The general opinion on the game seems to be... that it's... good, but too buggy and messy

Too lazy to start a new thread for this:

Rulers.of.Nations.Geopolitical.Simulator.2-RELOADED

I guess it's not a good game but who knows.

Played for an hour or so and game is really good so far.Deep and complex as expected, no bugs so far (i'm sure they exist in this type of game).

Yeah, cool they've bothered. Didn't with any of the other GPS games as far as I remember.

Anyway, I played the 2008 or 2009 version myself and that one really sort of sucked; it seemed deep at first, but eventually I realized I couldn't really make any difference in my country; despite maxing out *all* available budgets( not sure how exactly I could do that, but there was some kind of bug/exploit/oddity which gave me tons of cash; was playing SaudiArabia) I still couldn't see any difference in literacy and higher-educated people, etc. I even gave them freedom of press and free choice of religion, all the 'good stuff'. Think I played for 20 years before it bugged out on me, and there was no noticeable change whatsoever. That problem, along with too little control over the industry( and stuff like subsidizing having no apparent effect), really ruined the game for me.

Hope this one is better, because there's no real point in a game like this if changes you make aren't going to have any effect except on your popularity.

This game is excellent. It is like Superpower 2, Supreme Ruler 2020, and the really old Shadow Government game all mixed together. What is with all the S games? lol

I really enjoy the combat aspect of it as well especially the missiles flying around.

The number of options you have for controlling your government and country are kind of insane but I love it. The down side is that it is VERY easy to get deposed by making even small changes. It is definitely a challenging game.

At the very least get it so you can play a nuclear country and start World War 3. It is spectacular.

Anyone got a few tips ???

And how does trading work ?? do you only get the cash AFTER the contract is up ??? (eg 5 years) .. i dont understand that..

Eg i make a contract to sell germany diamonds for 3 years..

When do ya see the money ??

Also starting ANY war seems to be instant game over (well not exactly.. but the people hate you)

In the first game a good way to get some popularity up was to take down overseas terrorist cells with your secret service.. guess ill try that.

Also is subsidies in this game a way of "constructing" industry ?

i gave this game (Rulers Of Nations) 20 minutes to entertain me. first off, the interface is butt ugly. it looks so plain and bland much like the rest of the 'game.' Sad

at any rate, it feels so lifeless kinda like staring at a spreadsheet all day long. Sad

game, meet mr uninstall. Smile

It doesn't have saving/loading however, profile system is messed up. Cracks these days are as buggy as the games they're made for.

Can't even load the campaign. There is probably cinematic because it crashes once it finishes loading. There was failure installing xvid. I guess I should reboot my PC once in a while, probably will do the trick.

Yeah, that or maybe antivirus stuff? Supposedly need to exclude the skidrow dll's.

Anyway, not much good before they get saving/loading in. Rest of the game seems to be working fine, but with such a complex game it takes a few hours before we'll find out if the simulation and game logic is as broken as in the previous games.

Rebooted system. xvid crashes right off the bat. But game loads fine. But like Ass_Issues said, saves are not working.

Oh, it saves just fine. It's just that you won't be able to find your saved game for loading.
