Hotfix (multi 5) came out:
http://www.twoworlds2.com/download.php?id=1
Changes made in patch 1.0.1:
fixed crash in singleplayer campaign during streaming of levels (CD icon) or during teleportation.
fixed one crash in multiplayer.
fixed quality of rendering ogg videos (when HD video option is off)
if game crashes while playing wmv videos then it is switched to ogg mode and next time ogg will be played.
fixed missing in shops magic cards: Air Life and Air Lightning.
fixed type of potion ingredients generated in village shops.
fixed endless invisibility spell error.
fixed wrong direction of camera in sniper mode in reversed vertical view.
fixed problem with changing bid by +/- keys in dice minigame on laptop keyboards.
fixed displaying wrong number of equipment parts in "destroy equipment" message box
added missing "Check for updates" option to settings.
some player reported long time of making savegames in full screen. It was possible caused by taking screen shot. Save screen shots can be turned off by console command: game.MakeSaveScreenShot 0 - it should be added to autosaveGame3.con file in Parameters subdirectory of save game.
one change was made which could fix problem with saving multiplayer characters / village. Now if sending data to server fails then game make two more attempts to send.
fixed one crash in multiplayer - this fix was made previously for PS3 version.

Awesome.
Bought this game, worth the money for sure, multiplayer is a blast with friends.
Even the minigames are great fun. Making a small "band" and playing the tunes together is rad.

Pitty, TW2 is ANOTHER disappointment. Very gorgeous graphics but the open world is very limited too, much more than Fallout NV and the gameplay is lame too slow. I prefer TW2 for graphics, but New Vegas for gameplay.

What would you need it for? Just wear best possible armor that you can find in every slot - knowing the actual number doesn't make any difference.

So which do I wear? A 10%/30% armor or a 30%/10% armor? Percentages mean piercing and blunt damage.
I assume this hotfix works with the release?

As the book about armor which you'll find really early (Library during escape I think it was.) tells you it's best to have multiple armors for a variety of encounters.
In Two Worlds 1 leather was bad against slashing and piercing (not in TW2 anymore.) but OK against blunt, chain was OK against slashing but worse against blunt, half plate (Also not in TW2 anymore.) was OK against both and full plate was very good against all three.
In TW2 the system is a bit simplified, leather is decent, chain is better and full plate is best, variations still exists of all but there's fewer of them and later types are much better than earlier, color variations also remains but instead of being better and better they vary so some are better against blunt and some better against slashing.
Normally with the bonus codes the dragon scale armor is "best" for most armors up to mid-end full plate unless said armor is upgraded (Dragon Scale can only be upgraded via the console.) since it covers all slots minus the helmet slot and the "cloak" slot which is very useful for resistances against elemental damage types via crystal upgrades.

Reesa's plot is covered in the quests you do for her though I don't remember it fully at the moment, she'll tell you more if you aid her and then you'll loot her house for some personal letters which gives much more info.
(At higher levels it's fairly simple to notice, any lock level below master level contains something interesting like love letters from the resistance commander to his current man to personal info like above or simple books, diaries and other filler info, I've gotten most of them but there's a few chests I currently can't access until I figure out how to reliably get the NPC's away from them, some of these chests won't trigger a thief notification from a NPC if looted though.)
Spoiler: |
If I remember correctly she's his first born and thus heir though daughter so was chased away and got into problems which she now resolves with your help.

i dunno how you find it best as you are smart guy, and dragon scale armor takes all armor slots apart helmet , lvl 20 armor totally demolishes dragon armor, 15 lvl does same or at least equal , if you look at those OH =+9000% and you forget to count that you got +3000+3000+3000+3000 from 4 you not wearing, its easy to think its far too good.. which its not

I was under the impression armor worked per part so with Dragon Scale Armor giving 30% and 60% or how it was for all parts minus the helmet it was thus pretty good instead of them all combining into a total value.
(Which for higher-end armors would exceed 100% and thus that can't be correct.)

The Dragonscale armor is good up untill lvl 15 or so. After that the combined armor rating from seperate pieces of armor goes beyond the Dragon Scale.
