There are little hopes for a second season, but you never know. Damages also took some time until a second season was ordered. I think the initial light-mood premise was the culprit. People expected some light mood crap and suddenly got dragged into a serious series with a continuous story arch.
Just rewatched the whole season over the last week. What a fantastic show! Fuck you FX for not having a second season!
At least it was contained and no silly cliffhanger though.
It's a shame that so few shows like this get to survive..slow but steady character building and great chemistry but no there hasnt been any zooming done on forensics so cancel it!!!
possibly my oldest necro ever, but totally worth it.
had like.. 5 eps of this on my hdd for years and never got around to watching them. Just found them again, had nothing better to do, so started watching.. got 3 or 4 eps in, and immediately knew i had to grab the rest of the eps.
this was a really, really, really great show! the episode stories are pretty good, but the characters and dialog were fantastic and what really shines in the show! Out of curiosity, i had a look at some of the promo material (teasers, trailers, posters, etc) and it was rubbish (maybe one of the reasons i wasnt more interested in watching the show at the time) im not sure if they knew how to properly market the fantastic show they had on their hands...
consider this a public service bump. go dig this show up and watch it if you havent...

Really great serie, like Big Lebowski with a serious/somber undertone.
The acting is superb, the characters are awesome, the stories keep you sucked in...

I pseudo binge-watched this in the last 2 weeks, really ggood show! I don't know why but to me it felt like a good mix between Psych and Justified, though not quite on the same level of quality as the latter, but like I said, I really enjoyed. I don't know if they intended to do a second season before getting cancelled (what a shame if so) but at least the final scene could be seen as a definitive ending
